Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesAfter the initial night, housekeepers only left us 2 towels total to share between 3 people, and it was like that every day. A bit annoying having to deal with daily. We had 3 beds and 3 people in the room.
Location was great. It has a washer in the unit, a small fridge, a microwave, and a cooktop.

United KingdomGreat family run hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. All staff were excellent and helpful. Location is great, 2 mins walk to all the fancy shops, 7 mins to train station (Nice and Monaco), 20mins to the port for the boat to St Tropez. Loads of places to eat. We will return.

PolandRoom was super small and it was challenge to unpack my luggage. Rooms windows were directly in front of busy street that add some noise. Walls are thin - neighbours knocked to ask me to UNPACK my luggage more silently as they were going to have a nap, first time in my life :). Be aware breakfast is coffee and some buns you may have different expectations.
Hotel has perfect location, while someone report it is noisy I slept well. Staff is friendly.

CanadaRoom a bit small for two people, but we hadn’t spent much time inside. Otherwise no concerns or complaints.
Awesome location! Beach and train station both 5 minutes walk. Continental breakfast good. Room was very clean with good bathroom facilities, comfy bed and good AC. Nice having a window that opens. Staff very polite and professional. Luggage storage very convenient until we caught our next train.

VietnamAt first they gave us a room without a window and a small skylight area. We talked about our dissatisfaction and wished for a change, they quickly changed us to a much better room to our needs. So not much here to say but a well done for the Hotel
Our room was a 4 people (we have 3 people) room facing the main street. Quite big and breathable, comfortable with all the needed household appliances. The view is nice and the center as well as the old town was within walking distance (10m). The Staff was extremely friendly, including the dark skin female staff who was really patient with our needs, and helped us changed the room that is more suitable for us.
