We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FranceFull digital onboarding. We had a pretty competitive rate because of a Booking voucher but the average normal rate is +300 euros. For this fare I do think that this full digital approach is not decent regarding the location. Pretty expensive breakfast with limited option because of the digital order method

However the restaurant is in a spectacular hamlet next to an epic castle on a hill
Wow great place to stay, we had the attic room which was immaculate and so well equipped. Breakfast was fab too and served to our room. Visited the restaurant which was not on site and wow what a location!

Placed right in the middle of beautiful, green landscapes. Very calming! Everything was classy and we felt like we are in an old movie. The facilities are well taken care of and the staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would definitely recommend and be visiting again.

United KingdomWe had another beautiful stay at this luxurious hotel in the heart of the Burgundy countryside. We were so impressed on our first visit, that it has become our favourite destination to break the journey when travelling between Calais and Nice. The suites are spotlessly clean, the beds are super comfy, and the private courtyard with hot tub and deck chairs feels like a little piece of paradise.

United KingdomThere were several areas of disappointment. The choice of evening food was poor, basically meals in jars that you reheat, we just went and found local restaurants instead. The mini bar items were never replaced and housekeeping never cleaned the room in our time there. The use of an tablet for ordering is in theory a good idea but is actually frustrating in practice. Did they do this to be trendy or just to save the cost of staff?
It was certainly a relaxing stay, and our room (Le Logis) was quite comfortable, if a bit irrational in some of the choices of layout and furnishings. The jacuzzi was excellent.
