Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe maintenance is not great. Light bulbs not replaced and the hot water stopped working in my shower.
If you are interested in the architecture of Corbu this is a must. Access is available to a large part of the building including most of the roof terrace. It's located well away from the port area but the transport connections are frequent and inexpensive. The road that runs past Unite is pretty busy and noisy as are the parakeets which live in the trees. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant which is a fascinating space is well worth the extra payment and much better value than the cafe next door.

United StatesIt would be great if there was a small fridge in the room.
This is an iconic masterpiece in the history of architecture. The joy was just being in the space. The rooms are original, so they are small, but delightful.

FranceThere could've been a few more plug sockets. Had to heat the kettle on the floor as there were only two sockets in the room.
The staff went out of their way to accommodate any requests. They were polite and friendly. The room was spacious with a large comfortable bed.

United KingdomWe would have liked to eat in the restaurant - the tasting menu was just not of interest and out of our price bracket - but we would have paid a premium price for a more normal meal!
Staying at L'Unite d'Habitation was a lifelong ambition and I was not disappointed. Beautifully refurbished preserving the spirit of Le Corbusier - but with a better bathroom! Breakfast was excellent and in such a lovely environment. Bus and metro route back to Marseille central easy and cheap. The staff at the hotel were wonderful and very friendly, we enjoyed the bookshop and access to the building afforded to us as temporary residents.

SwitzerlandBed was not what was expected in terms of comfort. Floors creaked, and can be heard at night.
Friendliness of the staff. I tried to speak French, maybe that was to do with it. There was a problem with the lock, and a lovely lady came to fix it and she was very chatty and cordial.

United KingdomThe room was lovely and in keeping with the Le Corbusier style however there were issues. Wall plugs not working correctly. Occasional table that fell apart. Worst was a terrible leaking shower on an extremely slippery floor surface, the water flooded every time even after a short shower and the slippery floor was dangerous.
Amazing to stay in a unesco site hotel that is an architectural landmark like living within a museum exhibit and very interesting to explore the rooms shops and roof terrace.

United KingdomInitially found the hotel hard to find as it's located on 2 floors in a larger building.
The hotel was good value for us as we were attending a rugby world cup game at the stadium just across the road.

United KingdomThe bed wasn't the most comfortable. We enjoyed exploring a different part of Marseille but it is quite a distance (walk and metro) from the centre.
Fantastic historic building and definitely got to appreciate better from staying there rather than just visiting. Watching the sunset from the restaurant terrace or the roof top fabulous.

United KingdomGiven the price of the room, I was expecting a bit more comfort. The walls were super thin and I could hear everything in the other rooms. The toilets were outside of the room, the curtains were not covering the window so I was awaken by the daylight. The breakfast was not served before 08:00 which is a pity as the restaurant looked amazing but I had an early plane to catch. This was a nice hotel, very arty but a bit pricey I guess for what they offer.
The building itself and the decoration, very arty, the rooftop, the restaurant and balcony looked amazing, the view. And was closed to the Stade Velodrome.
