Well located. Parking available without issue. Property has a lovely view of the cathedral - stunning at sunset/night/sunrise. Good to have outdoor space too. Excellent communication from owner with door codes/instructions, etc. prior to arrival so no pressure to be there at a set time to meet somebody.

Even thinking about this in particular, there was nothing we didn't like.

We loved the amazing views of the city from the windows, and the big wide open kitchen diner lounge. It felt so comfortable. We also loved that our host invited us to park our two motorbikes in the locked courtyard even though we'd parked them on the public parking area nearby.

Please be aware that there is no dedicated parking if this is important for you. Public street parking nearby is easily accessible.

The location was great with lovely views of the cathedral and church. Easy walk into town. Apartment was perfect for the two nights we stayed. Clean and well equipped. Host was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting in the communal garden in the evening.

The bedroom was small & access to the bed was a little tight

The property had a lovely shared garden which we took advantage of . Lovely location, quiet but within easy walking distance to the town center . Nicely decorated and very clean. There was no parking provided, but it was very easy to park, for free, in a public car park adjacent to the property.

Decoration, fittings and general maintenance felt cheap, especially for the price of the property. Ceilings upstairs are angled and low (but you can see this on the photos). The sauna/jacuzzi are advertised but there was no mention of where they were or how to access during our stay. The lock to the outside door jammed on our first night so we had to wait outside for 90 minutes at 10pm while the landlord tried to fix the problem. Mr Khan was responsive even though it was late (thank you!) and was friendly and helpful but we were not happy with the initial suggestion that we spend the night in the 1 bed apartment (we were 3 adults, including my 80 year old father) without all of our things - he did then call someone to come and help who did eventually open the door. We did not hear from the landlord after that.

There's nothing I disliked. I can't really comment of staff or the quality of the welcome because I didn't see anyone.

Location is great. Easy free parking nearby. A fascinating town to visit. I brought my E-Bike and did an 80 km circuit down to the Ailette river trail. The electric assistance was pretty useful for getting back up into Laon. Don't miss the Secret Underground tour. It's fascinating.

This review is for the smaller "studio"-apartment. Couch: The back rest is way too soft, we found it impossible to have a normal seating position, you just sink in without support until your back ends up being diagonal. Bedroom: the room is very small for the size of the bed, with 2 unpleasant consequences: (a) it is impossible to put any luggage in the bedroom near the bed, it all has to stay in the living room, which becomes messy very soon; (b) the bed blocks the bedroom door from closing - normally I'd be fine with that, but the 24/7 running fan system in the corner of the kitchen was quite loud so we lost sleep over the constant noise, even at its lower setting. Also, you'd better not start the dishwasher just before going to bed because that makes sleeping even harder; earplugs are no match for the noise it makes. I would very much recommend the owners to install a sliding door which can actually close, or change the door to rotate outside of the bedroom instead of inside it.

Great location at the edge of the old city, with lots of free parking space close by. It's a complete apartment with couch, coffee table, a well-equipped kitchen and a table with 2 chairs. Good and comfortable double bed. Shared terrace outside with plenty of garden furniture.
