Nothing. Everything was great. The only thing I would say is that La Chambre itself doesn't have much in the way of places to eat - we drove to St Jean de Maurienne, where there are a good number of restaurants. (However Bruno and Sophie do offer the option of an evening meal if you prefer.)

We spent five nights at the Clos Grillet. It is the perfect location for a cycling trip in the Alps. Sophie and Bruno were great hosts - nothing was too much trouble. Bruno even helped us to mend one of our bikes! As a cycling destination, there is secure storage for bikes in a garage and e-bikes can be recharged overnight. And breakfast was very, very good indeed with bread and croissants fresh from the boulangerie, eggs from the resident chickens and tomatoes fresh from the garden.

Sophie and her husband, Bruno, were extremely helpful, friendly and warmhearted. We arrived too late with a torn chain of one of our bicycles. Bruno tried to help us fix the chain, and Sophie prepared a dinner for us, which was not planned in advance. We are touched, that so helping and wonderful people still exist. We had a lovely stay at Les Clos Grillet! We went by bicycle doing the route the grandes alpes and we couldn´t imagine a better place for the night to re-charge for the next stage. Great people and a really nice breakfast. Even clothes for bathing have been borrowed to us to be able to do a swim at the pool.

We loved everything about le clos grillet. The location and accommodation were excellent and Sophie and Bruno were the perfect hosts. The breakfast was superb as were the evening meals we enjoyed there. All locally sourced produce and beautifully cooked and presented by Sophie (and Bruno as the master of the barbecue!) We will definitely return.

We are traveling by bicycle and the location and amenities were perfect for us after climbing Col de la Madeleine. Sophie kindly provided us with home cooked dinner and breakfast that both felt like gourmet meals. The property left us wanting nothing! We had a beautiful room and enjoyed the garden with a perfect pool for us to relax at after a long day cycling. Sophie and her husband were the perfect hosts. While we only stayed one night, this was the kind of place we would enjoy spending a longer vacation at!

Everything about our stay was amazing!! Bruno & Sophie are amazing hosts, so warm & friendly. There are many things to love, the rooms & house are beautiful, the pool, jacuzzi & hamman are perfect for total relaxation and the location is the perfect base to enjoy nature. A special mention also has to be made for Sophie's cooking, not only is breakfast delicious & abundant, but if you can book for the family style dinner you definitely won't be disappointed - it's incredible.😋 100% planning on returning!! Thanks again for making our stay so relaxing & special!!
