The house/room is beautiful and clean, the dinner and breakfast are both delicious, the hosts are extremely accommodating and welcoming. I also loved the little set up by the river with a bottle of wine and joyful animals around. We saw a double rainbow that dusk and forever in my memory now.

An Excellent rural retreat run by a lovely couple. They were assisted by a friendly German shepherd, a fluffy cat and six little goats. The breakfast was traditional with a variety of pastries and bread. We had an evening meal of home cooked duck which was delicious. Our room was the nature and was very comfortable and cosy. We would have liked to stay for a few more days to explore the area but had only booked the one night, I have kept their details and will book again for longer

Everything. The location is beautiful, by the river. It is a perfect place for relax and the hosts were very welcoming, kind and helpful. Bed was very comfortable and the entire place is cozy and well decorated.

The owners are wonderful. Very kind and caring - nothing too much trouble, very welcoming! Peace and quiet - it’s in the middle of vineyards by the river-quite isolated which suited us! It is lovely, rustic and charming-with goats, a very friendly dog and cat-yet spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed. We were served a welcome drink on a jetty over the river to watch surfers on the Dordogne bore. Breakfast was all fresh and home-made -very good indeed, served on a balcony overlooking the river.

The breakfast and dinner were amazing with fresh baguette, there were friendly goats, it was nice and quiet, the bed was super comfy, we felt really well taken care of throughout our stay, Emily the host is absolutely lovely, I could go on...a really wholesome experience throughout.

Lovely one night stopover off motorway. Emilie and Matthias are wonderful hosts. The building and the location are tranquil and relaxing. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and breakfast. Matthias kindly contacted us in advance to discuss our preferences and prepared a lovely vegetarian meal. Excellent value for breakfast and dinner.

The setting was comfortable and relaxing and we were warmly welcomed by the Hosts.. Satnav found the house really quickly. Our room (Nature) was very well arranged and everything we needed was there -the colours were calm and inviting. The lounge area was comfortable and quiet with sofas and round tables where we ate our evening meal - a large baked-Camembert, followed by duck and a tasty dessert. Wine too. Breakfast was very country French both filling and tasty. A totally relaxed stay!

Everything exceeded expectations!

The best aspect about staying in La Riviera B&B Chambres d'hôtes is wonderful friendly accommodating hosts. The country location by the river is beautiful - close to both Bordeaux and Saint-Emillion, and they have the cutest petit goats! The cosy shared living area has a lovely fire so would be lovely for the cooler nights as well the warmer months We stayed in the Balneo suite which was so romantic, spacious and has the most amazing jacuzzi. And lastly the food - whilst the dinner is designed to be smallish as it is a B&B, the hosts accommodated our dietary needs - vegetarian, and provided delicious high end cheeses with salad and fresh baguettes, and of course lovely wines. Tip: don't miss out on the Bordeux reds and the Rocamadour cheese.

This is a great place to stay. Hosts were amazing and went out of way to make you feel at home. The location is great right on the river bank, loved the goats, cat and dog. Dinner was brilliant - we could not stay for breakfast due to onward travel but hosts provided a take away which was lovely.
