I found everything charming but not a 5 stars hotel. I Would say it is a beautiful old furnished 4 stars hotel.

The place and the room. The place is charming , a bit old style, but somehow romantic along a very pleasant patio The room is large, with a separated nice wonderful bathroom. Again, a bit old style but so natural and pleasant.

The standard of room cleaning for the first three days was disappointing for the quality of the hotel and then a different cleaner must have started. So, the last few days of our stay the cleaning was of the standard I would expect from a hotel of this quality.

Lovely hotel tucked away inside the walls of the old city. Tranquil gardens.

The best hotel to stay in Aigues Mortes . Central location you can walk everywhere from the hotel . Really nice friendly staff . Beautiful grounds and an exquisite restaurant .

Lovely peaceful location within the ramparts of a pretty medieval town with a beautiful peaceful inner garden. Restful atmosphere, our suite was huge with its own sauna. Staff very efficient, friendly and helpful. Authentic French experience, go ready to practice your French. On site parking was a breeze, lovely looking pool which we didn’t get chance to use.

I could not connect to the wifi and the AC in my room was noisy. Quite minor things but a bit annoying.

Excellent (if expensive) breakfast. Lovely room, generally a very characterful and well kept property.

The pillows were a bit strange and small. The restaurant was closed for dinner when we stayed there.

The building was beautiful and steeped in history. The room were spacious comfortable and nicely decorated in a traditional Provençal style. Our stay was made memorably good by the friendly and helpful staff who clearly enjoyed working there. The location inside the walls of Aigues Mort was perfect and had its own underground car park.

Everything! The friendly and helpful staff especially Jean Philippe the concierge. He could not have been more obliging. The location within the city was a plus as we were near the centre of the medieval city but it was quiet. Our room overlooked the garden and it made for a very restful space. We didn’t use the spa facilities but would hope to return and use them in the future. The room was very comfortable and spacious. The garden was a bonus…. a quiet contemplative place to sit and read and listen to the birds and the fountain. The underground parking was great because it was secure and cool and on street parking is limited.

Our bedroom was so big that we had difficulty seeing the TV screen clearly - maybe a larger screen TV 😊

Wonderful staff, great facilities (swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, gym - all of the very highest quality). Lovely breakfasts delivered to your table with loads of choice of highest quality foods and ingredients - most impressive.

Slightly off-putting having an 'open plan' toilet - but I was on my own; so, not a problem for me. Without drawing the heavy curtains, inside of room was probably visible from anyone passing in front. A pity that the restaurant was closed during my stay,

Extremely good service. Room very large. Breakfast was copious, fresh and served to my table. My own outdoor seating area set in lovely gardens. Private parking easy to find. Hotel was central; didn't need to use the car during my stay. Overall..... wonderful

No effort was made beforehand to smooth the registration and parking process (which was a nightmare). The tea/coffee facilities in the room were not worthy of a 4* hotel and neither was the reception area and service (I didn’t expect to have to carry the ironing board and iron I requested to our room).

We loved the location within a short walking distance of the center of the beautiful fortified city and the colonial charm of the hotel.

We were neither advised in advance or checkin that the restaurant was full which was a disappointment. We were then booked for an equivalent restaurant but this turned out to be closed. The final restaurant booked was in fairness very good.
