There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I wish there was a blanket on the couch and a diffuser for the hair dryer but those are just recommendations. Honestly a great apartment.

The aesthetic of the apartment was great and the view was AMAZING! Easy walk to both the old castle and the downtown area. A cute shop a few doors down that had all the amenities we needed. We were even able to get groceries for breakfast each morning and dinner one night at that shop. So convenient.

Nothing - we loved it all!

The apartment was absolutely incredible. I travelled with my husband, mother and mother-in-law for a long weekend and we all had a wonderful time. You could not ask for a better location - and the view in the day and at night is just incredible. Pierre was an incredibly helpful host who gave us lots of information and was very responsive to messages. The beds were very comfy and the showers had lots of hot water. The kitchen was very well equipped and had all you needed to cook and eat on the terrace. The selection of wines you could buy was a brilliant addition

This place is fantastic, the view is wonderful and the location close to the cité is superb. The property had everything we needed and more - including a selection of wines from the region for purchase. Local shops were great and the welcome gift was very welcome and Pierre was a brilliant and very helpful host. Free parking is easy enough on local streets, and if it is busy just park in the local car park for a couple of hours and then move your car later. And for cycling it was very easy to get out in to the vineyards and countryside

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect.

The pictures don’t do it justice! An amazing property with the best view of Carcassonne! Immaculate and luxuriously appointed, no detail was spared. Our children immediately fell in love with the starry light ceiling. Location can’t be beat, easy access to the city and a lovely little grocery store less than two streets away. One of the most memorable residences we’ve ever stayed at, we sat on the deck with the local wine every night just enthralled by the view.

I have no complaint. The only negative was not having an assigned parking spot (which seems as though it's extremely rare for rooms in the area to offer parking) however street parking was quite easy to find and there are numerous free parking lots a short walk away.

This was the best place that we have stayed. In the world. The view is unmatched - there is no way that any other location has a better view of this walled city. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, large and airy, with very comfortable beds, and a lot of room to spread out. There is an incredible balcony/terrace with majaestic views of the walled city. The location made it easy to get to tourist attractions and the rest of the city of Carcassonne. The host was very easy to chat with and very kind. The photos on this site are accurate - however nothing could prepare us for how breathtaking the view is in real life.

Excellent location for visitors who specifically want to visit the Citadel as it is literally at the start of the walk up. Also great location for the rest of Carcassonne as it's 15 minutes walk to any part. Apartment was very clean and has everything you would need. Pierre was very helpful and responsive to online questions....he recommended 2 restaurants that we used which were both excellent. Parking was easy to find and we parked 2 minutes walk away in a car park at the end of the street. The little shop a little further down the street sells freshly baked pastries and sufficient products for a short visit.

Absolutely nothing to dislike about the host or the house.

Everything about the property and the host was excellent. The communication with Pierre was excellent before our arrival and during our stay. Pierre did everything to make our stay very pleasant. He was very helpful, attentive and accommodating The house is beautifully decorated, modern and functional. Pierre has welcomed us with some local delicacies and tea and coffee. We had very good quality toiletries and towels. The rooms are very clean and the beds very comfortable The whole house was spotless and very well equipped. Above all, the house is located in the perfect spot and the view from the balcony is breathe taking.

Wonderful view, modern, clean and easy access to the old town/castle. Well equipped, good cooking facilities. Comfortable beds, 3 good sized rooms, one with shower and basin in the room. Good sized bathroom and separate loo. Good heating system, well insulated.

Great apartment, super clean and well equipped, beautiful view from the terrace The host met us exactly on time, as agreed, to show us around and give us the keys Great location between the medieval and newer parts of Carcassonne, the Cyclolib city e-bikes were just near the bridge which was handy The area was very quiet and we felt very safe There is an excellent little shop less than 1 minute away with great bread and pastries for breakfast Excellent communication with the host who recommended places to eat and a taxi service
