The lighting in the bathroom was not very bright; it created a nice atmosphere, but not one in which it was easy to see! But this is a matter of minor importance.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Excellent location. Good breakfast.

A note on how to use the coffee machine would be useful! Nothing the hotel can put right but, *the swamping of Monet’s house and garden by so many coach parties! Spoilt the ambient atmosphere having to queue everywhere, even to pay for items in the gift shop! Expected many people but it was packed and there was no chance of lingering and soaking up the atmosphere in the gardens.

Staff so pleasant and no problem arriving a little later than planned, traffic. Lovely dinner, again excellent service. Great location for exploring the village.

I had a hard time regulating the shower temperature. The bathroom walls were partly transparent which let light into the bedroom. This light would weaken my husband. The rooms didn’t have enough desk space.

Close to Monet’s house with parking. Good restaurant on site.

Sweet small hotel restaurant with charming indoor & outdoor spaces. Perfect short walk to things Monet. English spoken. An adventurous chef I would encourage to keep working on it. Some unusual, modestly priced & very good wines (& somellier).

The artificial lighting in the bathroom is poor. There is no light in the shower stall at all and it has a dark colored shower curtain, and there is not adequate lighting above the sink.

There is no air conditioner in the room. It was a hot day, so we had to live with a fan through the night, which was hard. It wasn't a problem for me, but it is a lovely old house with old stairs, which may be a problem for people with mobility issues. Be aware of that.

The location is perfect if you are there to go to Monet's garden and the breakfast was good. The room was spacious.

Great location in a tourist hot spot. Rooms felt cramped but staff were friendly and welcoming.

Our room was rather small. There was very limited storage and nowhere to put our two cases. The two steps up to the shower room/toilet would have been tricky for anyone with mobility issues and were tricky to negotiate post-shower with wet feet. The bed was a bit short for me (186cm). There's no lift so cases are hauled up curving staircase.

The location was excellent as you are on the main road to the Monet's house and garden as well as the Monet museum. If you want to visit the Monet attractions the location couldn't be better. Hotel has a large off-street car park which was nice. Breakfast was good and all the staff spoke excellent English as my somewhat limited French was a bit rusty. We ate one evening in the restaurant which was excellent but not cheap. The room had a nice view out to the front of the hotel.

Be prepared. Very winding and twisty stair case to floor 2 (which is floor 3). Pack accordingly. No AC in room only Dyson fan. Intolerable during the day, but windows were sufficient at night.

This is a beautiful property with a first class restaurant. It is an easy walk to Giverny. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

The steep narrow staircase for hauling luggage up. We had the price fixed menu for dinner. The chef picked and it was called a surprise menu. The surprise was the price for what you got. A boiled egg with sauce was one, and small portions. No meat Small amount of catfish on another serving. Breakfast not a good value. Had to boil your own egg..Tiny amount of fruit served. No selection of yogurts. No salt and pepper on the table. Least favorite of my month long trip so far.

The parking being at the hotel was great. Location was great to see the Monet gardens. Beautiful village to see. Very walkable and photogenic. Hotel and the grounds were lovely.

Generally expensive, though that’s to be expected — I didn’t do the dinner or breakfast but be warned that there isn’t much else around. Also, the taps were a bit difficult to figure out and no one explained anything!

Cute rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff who let me check in a little early. They also offered baggage storage while visiting the gardens which was kind.

    Nothing.

The car park attached to the hotel was convenient and seemed safe. An early arrival precluded check in but I was able to leave my car in the car park whilst I visited the Giverny gardens. The meal was excellent although the service was rather too slow; I waited 20 minutes for a plate of cheese, although in fairness the restaurant was full. The hotel was on the main street in Giverny and was quiet at night.

Bath was typically small for European hotel with shower that often left water on the floor. If you travel by car, beware that parking is a challenge. Hotel has limited on-site parking and public lots are often close to full

Great location in St. Malo...middle of old city right on the ramparts...easy walk everywhere in the old city. The main restaurant on the 5th floor is a "must do" for dinner.
