Not very many facilities for travellers in the immediate vicinity, but plenty to see and do in the nearby city of Tours.

The Château was amazing. I loved everything about it. The breakfast is to die for. It’s run by a lovely French family. That is so kind. I can’t wait to go back. Beautiful place for a great vacation. It’s convenient. Also a little grocery store across the street.

Caroline and her family were super nice and welcoming. It's not easy to find adjoining rooms or a suite for 5 people families, so this was perfect. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely, with homemade jams and yogurt. We will definitely go back!

No good restaurants within walking distance - mainly chains - a 15 minute walk. If you take tram you can get into town.

Breakfast was very good and well presented. Everything was fresh and homemade. Included a pastry - a speciality of the region. Impressive building and room was very tastefully decorated.

It would have been nice to know about the possibility to order a light meal/nibbles and wine in advance after driving for many hours.

I really enjoyed the lovely breakfast with home made tough yet and jams, fresh bread from the local baker, all in a beautiful setting. Good place when traveling by car as you can park in the garden. 20 mins from town with the tramway around the block.

There was nothing we didn't like. There was a very handy folder in our room on the house and about the local area, restaurants etc, but all in French!!! A English version would be good as I know you do have regular English cliental.

The whole experience was excellent, greeted by a friendly husband, made to feel relaxed and nothing was to much bother. Given advice on location to eat for supper. Breakfast was also great, Above all else the House was superbly decorated. Thank you.

Comfortable stay for a family of 4 in interconnecting rooms. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were cool and a good size and the bathroom was clean with a good shower. The location was easy to find with secure parking and there was a restaurant close by that we could walk to and avoid having to get back in the car after a day of driving. The breakfast was simple but tasty and fresh.

Beautiful old property so tastefully designed and decorated. We loved our bedroom, so comfortable...so French. Lovely tea and coffee tray provided with chocolates. Frederick & Caroline were friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. We enjoyed a really lovely breakfast and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

What an eye for detail. From the softness of the towels with the logo stitched on it, the room key ring, the cushions and the soap in the bathroom, to the delicious home made yoghurt, the eggs and jams for breakfast. And also the possibility to charge our car (no fast charger). The bed is great as well as the bathroom. The family owning the mansion is lovely and doing their utmost to please their guests. We loved getting a peak of their daily lives watching the children in their pyjama's on this early Sunday morning. The behaved great, they we're even hushing to not disturb us Do not forget to read the story behind the life choices of the family in the room guide. It's worth it. We spent one night and could not follow the tips but I'm sure they are worth trying. We would not doubt returning when. We are in the neighborhood again
