Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

BulgariaIt was very easy to hear sounds and other guests talking or walking near or next to our room. It didn’t bother us too much but if you’re a light sleeper, it might disturb you.
The hotel is located in a nice, cozy area. It felt like everything is nearby and it was easy to get around the city from its location. Everyone from the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. We'd definitely go back there again.

United StatesRooms are tiny to include an even tinier shower and bathroom. If you are using the toilet and are even remotely tall, your knees may touch the wall. Creating space for nearly anything takes some imagination and may take up some walking space. The elevator is slow enough to want to take the stairs going down. There is no microwave but most anything you need the staff is more than hospitable to try and accommodate.
Close to restaurants, public transportation and a market. Highly recommend Bar Brasserie Os’minhotos for great Asian cuisine and WAKO for great sushi rolls.

RomaniaWell, I did know the room was small, 12m2 with 3 beds. The bathroom was tiny, but it was clean. The luck was that we were 3 girls, as I really don't know how a 1.80m tall man would fit in that bathroom. :) But again, we knew that, the description of the room was accurate. One morning, the door of a 2 beds room was opened, so I saw it was definitely normal size. I would go back to Maison Montmartre, but in a room for 2.
The hotel is clean, the sheets are very clean also. The staff was nice and the breakfast great. We loved the location, it was less touristic and we could feel the vibe of a true parisian neighbourhood, as it is in 2024.. It is very close to 2 tube stations, Plaisance and Pernety. There is a supermarket, Auchan, and many small restaurants:Chinese, Sushi, some French Bistros It's a very friendly neighbourhood. And I want to thank the staff for their kindness.
