Delphine goes above and beyond as a host! The apartment was very comfortable, extremely clean and well laid out. Delphine clearly and proactively communicated everything, including how to use the washing machine and other appliances. It is an easy, short walk to the center. She even left delicious welcoming gifts.

The only negative was the steep spiral staircase, we did find it challenging to get our luggage up and down. But that is minor, we only had to do it once and because it is such an historic property of course there is no lift.

Beautiful apartment in a very central location. Only a short walk to the town centre, chateau and Leonardo da Vinci chateau. Well appointed with all the mod cons including a full kitchen - big oven and hob. Apartment was quiet too making for easy sleep. Also spotlessly clean. Franck and Delphine were excellent to deal with, prompt to respond and clear with instructions. Having secure parking was a bonus too. Thanks for a great stay

Gorgeous studio apartment. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything that you could need. Our hostess met us on our arrival and was so welcoming with goodies to eat and drink. This is perfectly located for a 5 minute stroll into the main part of town and Amboise Castle. Highly recommended.

You need a general level of fitness for the top floor apartment as stairs are steep.

Clean, comfortable and very well presented apartment with a large comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and even a welcoming bottle of fizz in the fridge with some biscuits, very kind. Secure car parking. Excellent arrival and tourists information from the owners, we'd recommend to family and friends.

Delphine was amazing, she kept me informed about our booking. Made herself available if we requested or required anything. The property was well maintained, clean and comfortable. This was an excellent stay, excellent host and excellent apartment, excellent location. I booked the location online, I love it so much that I wanted to stay another night to celebrate my birthday. They were very quick in responding, all positive and gave me several options. The day before my birthday my dad surprised me, arrived from The Netherlands to surprise me for my birthday. He did not want me to spend it alone. I reported this right away, since I did not want any issues. This too was not a problem. My dad was able to stay and for no additional costs/fees. The apartment is located close to all mayor attractions, stores, supermarket and restaurants. In the apartment they have all info on what do and what to see in Amboise & surroundings. They welcomed me with a bottle of champagne & delicious cookies. The apartment has everything you need, just everything. I have travelled the world , stayed at many places and I definitely recommend this place. My birthday could not have started better. The hosts are quick in responding, are easy going and everything is well organized. There is also a free parking spot.They also make you feel right at home. I hope to return in the near future. It is on a rather busy road, so lots of traffic during business hours and into the early evening.

Incredibly convenient to all things in Amboise. Communication with hosts was remarkable and self check in was easy. The bonus gifts that they left was the cherry on top

Only point was the 10 AM check out. We were travelling in winter and at 10 it can be cold and still a bit dark. Other places we stayed had later check outs. In our case we asked to delay check out by a little and this was promptly accommodated.

Everything offered on the booking site was delivered, plus more. The apartment was extremely well fitted out, kitchen, laundry and for English speakers cable networks. The free/included parking is great, allowing visitors to stay in this smaller Loir town, but to have easy accessible road access to other great sites such as Chambord. The hosts provided a great list of suggestions for dining and other services in Amboise. This included the restaurant Les Arpents which provided one our best meals in France.

Like all Airbnb's, the process for entering and leaving the property is complicated. One code to get the gate open, another code to get the key from the lock box. We tried to clean up as best we could when we left, but didn't remember to take the garbage out until we were already driving away.

Breakfast was not included. The location was fine. The parking was good. The washing machine/dryer combination was very nice. We liked the exposed medieval beams in the ceiling--very well done. The hosts left welcome gifts, which were much appreciated.

The spaciousness of the apartment was wonderful. Its restoration was remarkable. It had every convenience needed: fridge, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee pod maker, big sink and all esssential dining needs. Additionally, we had the best view of the Chateau Royal D'Amoise. And it was located near too many restaurants. Highlight was Les Arpents. Finally, the hosts were most helpful with quick responses to any questions I had and made recommendations of tours. It was a great experience.

When the weather is warm, it is tempting to leave the windows open for comfort, but there are so many motorbikes in Amboise and they like to gun the throttle as they pass the intersection in front of the property. This can make sleep a challenge. This is not a reflection on the property and we would go there again ... but Amboise needs to enforce a noise ordinance.

Excellent location to explore Amboise and make day trips to the Loire Chateaux. The flat was clean and charming, the hosts were superb. We absolutely loved our stay and felt warmly welcomed.

Only the cups without handles - potentially dangerous with drinks made with boiling water. I nearly burnt my fingers and dropped the cup. Please give guests 2 mugs with handles too.
