Two of our friends had great difficulty navigating the stairs. They lacked proper hand rails. In fact one our friends did not sleep on the top floor instead he slept on the couch. That aspect of the house was very disappointing.

Loved the location and the charm of the house.

Staircase was really narrow so we left our suitcases downstairs. I wasn't expecting to have to pay a security deposit but had that request after paying Booking.com for the reservation. I didn't have anything any money charged but also haven't heard from them that they are not charging me.

Location. Clean. Quiet. Well equipped kitchen.

Nothing not to like, just be aware that it's in a historic building and built around a very steep and narrow stone spiral staircase - not suitable for young children or people with physical disabilities. But it is full of history and character!

Location was incredible, about 20m from the Arles Arenes and in a beautiful historic building, converted from part of 13/14th century monastery. Three bedrooms and a living room with kitchen, pretty well equipped and included washing machine/ dishwasher. Downstairs and upstairs toilets. Host was very helpful and accessible via WhatsApp, entry via a keybox. Good WiFi all over the building and the TV was connected to the internet. Although the weather was extremely hot each room was equipped with a fan, for which we were very grateful!

Beautiful historic house in the heart of Arles old town

We liked everything. It is perfect if you want to be in the heart of an ancient town.

Excellent communication with the owner right from the start, including a very useful online guide before arrival. We loved the fact that the property is in the heart of the old town but on a peaceful street. It is located in a heritage building with loads of character (stone walls, courtyard at the back, etc.). There are shops and parking within a very short walk, as well as all the sights of this beautiful historic town. The Roman arena is literally a 1 minute walk away. The house is well-equipped and everything worked perfectly (shower, kitchen units, fans, etc.).

    Everything inside.

The apartment is too old including bedroom and bathroom facilities. To go to bedroom on 2nd and 3rd floors have to go up too many small spiral stairs which made us feel dizzy every time. We felt very uncomfortable for this stay.

Getting the keys from the lock box was extremely difficult. How to open the box should have been explained better. Bed room on the top floor was unbearably hot as outside temperatures 35 C and no air conditioning. Staircase up to top floors is extremely steep and narrow. I left my suitcase on the ground floor.

    Great location
