Beautifully renovated classic French townhouse, with good sized rooms, excellent bathroom and spacious bedroom close to the centre of town. The property has a lovely large garden with private off street parking at the end of it. The hosts are a charming couple, warm and friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is excellent.

Delightful couple, super en suite bedroom and we enjoyed a drink with them on their terrace which was very inclusive of them, breakfast in their traditionally furnished dining room was magnificent and in a point of detail we had discussed varieties of French bread the night before and at breakfast along with my croissant was the traditional bread I like, great attention, absolutely no hesitation in recommending this venue

The owners of La Bicyclette Bleu, Richard and Yvonne, were wonderful. They were so warm and welcoming, and that added a lot to our enjoyment of Montmorillon. They gave us great ideas and recommendations, and they were extremely kind and considerate. They have created a beautiful place to stay in Montmorillon. The house is lovely, and our guest room and private bathroom were beautiful and extremely comfortable. Parking was safe and easy, and the location was perfect for enjoying this lovely small town. We had a wonderful time, and we hope to return to Montmorillon and to stay at La Bicyclette Bleu again! We highly recommend it.

Well what can I say? If I could have gave 100 score I would !!! Richard & Yvonne are the nicest couple you could wish for as hosts, from the moment we arrived at their beautiful house we were made to feel instantly welcome, even having a drink waiting for us as they did every evening when we arrived back after being out all day. Sitting having a chat before going out for a meal, the breakfast was amazing with everything you could ask for fetched fresh each morning. I honestly can’t praise this place or hosts any more they just do everything right thank you both so much for your hospitality

The property itself was in a great location from which to walk into the town and was stylishly renovated to a very high standard. Secure parking at the back of the house meant we didn't have to unload cases and bikes. The house is an easy stroll into the centre of pretty Montmorillon and the restaurant recommended by our hosts was excellent. Breakfast was superb in the beautifully decorated guest breakfast room.

United KingdomBreakfast just right - French breakfast of fresh bread, butter, jam and pastry. Lovely coffee. Bedroom Lovely cool and clean. The bathroom was not en suite which I hadn’t realised but it was still very private and beautifully clean and new. Made me rethink automatically going for en suite in future. The location was a short walking distance to restaurant where we ate (open on a Monday, not to be taken for granted in France) and to the beautiful river running through the town. Parking no problem. Plenty of on street parking. We parked opposite the front door. Our hosts were great and very kind. Extremely good value for money.
