Receptionist, I and two other couples had to wait 35 mins before she would book us in, a large party was booking in but was turning up to the hotel at different times, each time the next group arrived she would deal with them first. Common sense would have been to ask them to gather at the side until all of the party had arrived then book them all in together, after driving 7 hours to get to the hotel having to stand there for 35 mins was not appreciated. Swimming pool was only waist deep and small, not like the photo.

Very good standard; welcoming entrance area as were the staff; room excellent;clean,spacious. Very good location for La Rochelle harbour;restaurants etc. I liked that croissants etc., that were not eaten at breakfast were made available,free of charge, at reception during the day.

I would have appreciated an earlier check in time, as a neurodivergent person, it can be overwhelming arriving and having to wait.

The room was very tired, with several things not functioning - two fans with pull cords were in different rooms in the apartment, but didn't work. An in-built air conditioning unit didn't work, though a tower fan was available, which unfortunately made a lot of noise when on. The car park was great, but only available on the first come, first served basis, which meant it was always full by check-in time.

A fantastic location, with easy access to La Rochelle and a car park. The reception staff are fantastic - very helpful and happy to give good advice.

The pillows were quite small! We only got one roll of toilet paper!

Perfectly clean and roomy apartment. Loved the location, it is a quiet area and only a short walk to the harbour and town. The beds were comfortable and although they're is no AC, fans were provided for both the bedroom and the couch area. Great value for money though, half the price of other hotels locally.

The fact that there was no parking available when we arrived. I thought the description of parking was misleading. Although it said that it wasn’t possible to book parking in advance it did not state how limited it was. We had difficulty finding somewhere to leave our car for a few days.

The location was good, and it was clean, comfortable and quiet. A bonus for us is that there was an inner courtyard with seating and a covered area where I could smoke. Also, while we didn't have it, the breakfast smelled very good.

Unfortunately the room was badly designed as to get on the balcony you had to move the bed to one side and then it was still difficult to squash through the patio doorway and it was a deep step back into the room and it was awkward to have the patio door open during the night because of the bed. Also to use the wardrobe you had to move the bed the other way, surely the room could be designed better as so much wasted space in the bathroom.

The location was excellent, the bathroom was good if not a little too big, the bed was comfortable.

Reception staff not friendly or helpful. The microwave was faulty so not able to self cater fully. Asked for more toilet rolls which they said yes to but non arrived. Staff entered our room to remove a bed and did not ask to enter or tell us they were going to enter our room. Nothing taken but not comfortable with this this.

Finding my room as there are lifts to different wings of the hotel which I didn't understand at first. Otherwise it was perfect once I understood this.

The spacious room and its presentation when I arrived which was welcoming after a long day of travel on a motorcycle. The secure underground car parking was a bonus and me gave peace of mind. I liked it so much that I stayed a second night which I hadn't planned on doing.

It was basic but exactly what I needed for somewhere to stay while I was attending Sunny Side of the Doc Festival. Close to the venue with all the necessary amenities.

Reception hours were restricted to day time only. No bar or food other than breakfast. Underground car park very to get into and out off. Also EV chargers in underground would be an extra source of income for hotel. Finally there seemed to be air con controller but there were no instructions. Even if it was a heater controller there were no obvious instructions.

Good location and good value for money.
