It was looking a little tired and could do with a bit of modernising but this still would not stop us from returning if passing through.

No shower cubical, just shower attachment in small bath - though it worked OK. No ceiling light and the main room light was on the desk and linked to a switch back by the door, which was not very intuitive. Towels a bit thin; two very small sachets of shower gel/shampoo not so generous.

Excellent location on elegant tree-lined and quiet square just back from the river, close to the pedestrianised Old Town with its bars and eateries. Free parking very useful indeed in this area. Comfortable room on second floor with velux window; neither too hot nor too cold, bed was fine. The wifi worked well.

The room was dated and in my room the bathroom light didn't work and the toilet was broken ( I did manage to fix it but not properly) Breakfast was not what we expected and apart from the coffee machine was not good value for money.

The location was perfect for our needs and was only a very short comfortable walk to the center where all the food and drink was available. The room was ok for an overnight stay. Parking was a little restricted but we managed to park our bikes and knowing that they are secure and safe is a big bonus.

Room was hot (July) and no aircon. Clearly overall the place needs money spent and can't claim to be luxury, but in my opinion as a stop over hotel close to the city centre it is perfectly fine.

Location is excellent for a short stay. The room is basic but everything works, even has a bath. There is parking but it is limited and a little tight if all the spaces are taken. The breakfast is very nice, and available from 7 am which is great if you need to get away fast.

I arrived at 2.00pm to check in to find a hand written note saying that reception would not be open until 16.30. I returned at this time but no one arrived until 17.00. Breakfast was very basic.

Would have been nice to have somewhere to get a hot drink either in room or in the breakfast area out of hours.

We chose the hotel for parking, bike storage and location, all of which were excellent. Was a bit Faulty Towers. The owners are well into their 80s but did understand my attempts at French (o'level) and were slow but helpful and good sense of humour! The hotel is a in a 70's timewarp, but is clean and quiet and close to old town. We were just transiting from Perpignon to UK and needed parking and somewhere to store bikes. We also needed to leave at 4am to get our ferry, so they put the bike storage key in a special place for us to access, without disturbing anyone.

The rooms and facilities are a little bit outdated. The employees don't speak English and it was difficult to communicate clearly with the people behind the reception (an old couple). When we checked-in we confirmed we want breakfast but when we come downstairs in the morning they were surprised we wanted breakfast as apparently it was not registered that we confirmed we wanted breakfast. Not really a problem for us.

Nicely located, walking distance to the centre. Quiet at night. Free parking. Pets are welcome. These were the reasons why we chose the hotel and that met our expectations. It was clean. Sufficient for one night stay on the way to our holiday destination.
