Perfect location - lovely hotel and views plus park and walks

Everything was pretty good but some small practical things did let it down. Never understood why separate toilets don’t have the facilities to wash your hands in and why they make these rooms so small is beyond me

It is an expensive hotel and rhat is driven by the location My only slight issue was that I had to upgrade rooms twice;at high expense) to get a room that suited us - the staff were excellent at coming up with options

The location of the hotel makes it perfect for exploring Annecy The reception and concierge staff were excellent in sorting a couple of issues out

It feels slightly overpriced for what it offers , specially for example that with nearly 500 eur per night breakfast is not complimentary

Very little. Perhaps nicer beer glasses. Tumblers aren’t very nice with beer for dinner.

Needed a better option for sitting in the garden, such as deck chairs, rather than just sitting on the grass. Indoor spa was fantastic.

The breakfast was very busy and I had to wait for my hot order, they lost it and then had to be redone it was then sent to another table. Pretty chaotic

The hotel was stunning and was much better than the description. The room we booked had a side view of the lake that we loved! The location of the hotel was great for walking in to the old time along the side of the lake. The chateau was visible the whole way. Every attention to detail was taken by the hotel to make our stay the best it could be. It felt very special to be a resident in the hotel. The balcony where we had breakfast every morning was just perfect to just take in the view of the lake. The breakfast buffet was delightful in every way. This was an area of France we hadn’t visited before and we will return.

Amazing hotel! Clean and comfortable with a great service. My kids had such an amazing time, we could use the spa twice a day with the kids which was a great treat for the kids.

Decor little bit odd/ dated for such a impressive hotel - but doesn’t affect comfort , our shower drain broke flooded the bathroom - but was addressed. No ac in main areas of hotel like lobby , but is typical for Europe, some picky travelers make not like that ( it was an unusually hot few days when we came ) . Good ac in rooms .

Great location away from tourists , right on the water. Gorgeous views of the lake. Rooms were big and clean , great room service breakfast , super close to swimming docks and hip beach area. Easy to park which should be noted because impossible to park downtown . We rented bikes for transport and it’s the best way to get around.

Be sure to book reservations for the restaurant if you want to eat on-site, and not that meal service doesn't start until 7 pm. Parking on-site is an extra cost.

The Imperial is a large historic facility located east of the core of the town, with easy access via car and ample on-site parking. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and there are optional services (bike rentals) on-site or close by at the adjacent mini-golf business. You are right on the Lake, and have a 20 minute walk to get to the old town, but it is a beautiful walk along the Lake. The hotel has air conditioning, which was important in the summer heat.

My only criticism, which according to the reception staff, has been voiced several times before but has been ignored by management, is that no hot drinks are offered at breakfast and one is left to try to attract the attention of a waiter to order them. Most of the time even that wasn't that successful as they either forgot our order altogether (and didn't apologise) or brought the wrong thing. There is a coffee machine but it only serves espresso. The same issue exists if you want to order pancakes or an omelette: you normally have to leave your seat to find a waiter. It leaves you feeling very uncared for, which is a crazy risk to take at such a smart hotel which attracts very wealthy customers.

Spacious, elegant hotel situated in front of a park overlooking the beautiful lake. The staff was extremely helpful and keen to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, as was anything, food or drink, that we ordered from the bar.

Nit picking here but the distance into town was a little bit of a pain, not because of the distance so much as the lack of anything on the way there (lovely park). If you want an evening drink in a bar it's not ideal but I'm scratching my head finding anything to complain about.

Staff were fantastic, everything you would expect and more. Room was lovely and the lake views were phenomenal. Food was great at breakfast and just generally couldn't fault a thing there. Our worst experience in terms of service was waiting a few minutes for our morning coffee...

Restaurant food should be better (it was not good) and for the price we paid, there should have been more service with towels, coffee, and the basics but there would just be upgrades. Nothing would prevent me from staying here again. We had a fabulous time as a small family.

Beautiful views, spacious and clean rooms, nice reception and bar staff. Easy and beautiful walk to town. Gorgeous views of mountains, lake and town. Lots of parks and family friendly outdoor activities. The lake view rooms with balcony are worth it!

A bit far out from town although you can easily walk in 15 mins. You also need to reserve a slot to access the pool and spa facilities, but can still be quite busy.

The hotel preserves a lot of tradition and customer care. From pre arrival to check out, we were looked after. The room was of great size and high quality furnishing and bedding - let alone a stunning view of the lake. The pool and restaurant were highlights for us.
