Easy stroll to train station yet really quiet. Everything was new and clean. Good responsive air conditioning. Excellent breakfast. Staff was friendly.

Staff was polite and professional. The breakfast was superb, they have so many different items..it was nice to have complementary tea and bakery items. Location is great, the streetcar stop right in front of the hotel. Restaurant, theater, good side supermarket is just around the corner will recommend it

This modern hotel in Caen is conveniently located right across the street from the train station. There are also several nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and roomy. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

There is an underground car parking garage underneath the hotel which is most convenient for those who drive. An excellent choice of dishes is offered for breakfast. The staff were super helpful and amazingly understanding - most embarrasingly, our puppy lost control of her bladder in the foyer, but the receptionist was friendly and professional, and did her absolute best to assure me that it was no problem at all! We also requested a tax invoice many months after our stay, and received it within minutes.

Parking was expensive in the basement of hotel.

Chain place. No frills. Breakfast buffet was ok. Institutional type. Cheese, ham and baguettes. Not too shabby.

The reception desk's host (from Bayeux) greeted us with so much good cheer that it brightened our entire stay. The hotel was a pleasant (but long) walk from Caen's main tourist sites, but the hotel's proximity to the train station helped us again and again with day trips to other parts of Normandy. Also, the hotel was quiet at night, and the breakfast was good.

This is a cheerless place in a cheerless area; the harsh lighting and garish colour scheme are not restful. Everything seems to be made of plastic - even the (too small) bedside tables. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, no water glasses - only silly little paper cups. The bath/shower was very slippery and no handrails provided - beware if you are even slightly infirm. Not possible to open the window for fresh air. Did not compare at all favourably with the stylish and comfortable Ibis Styles in Milan, where we stayed for the previous night.

Able to accommodate our relatively late check-in. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Convenient, if basic, bar. Large room. Neat little bedside reading lights. Aircon worked.

I requested a non-interconnecting room via Booking.com. When I reached my allocated room I discovered that it was interconnecting. When I returned to reception to have it changed I was met with a very surly response. Also this hotel used to offer a bottle of water in the room but this seems to have stopped. Its now on the expensive side for a hotel which does not offer a great experience.

Nice big room, comfortable, handy for tram into town and with restaurants nearby.

We had 2 connecting rooms for the 4 of us, so we had loads of space. the breakfast was included and very nice. The location is great, next to a shopping centre with nice shops and restaurants where you get 10% discount. Parking was easy to, there’s an entrance and lift to the hotel from the underground car park.

Nothing , everything was excellent

The room was spacious and very clean , the shower was good and the bed was comfortable, aslo there was good black out curtains. The breakfast was really good and the location to the town centre was excellent. The carpark below the hotel was really useful..Check in staff were helpful.

It is not possible to ipen the window, so it might get a bit stuffy.

It is really easy to arrive by car and there are some hidden places (by the river on the left) to park free. The room is large and comfortable and the breakfast is adequate with plenty of options.

Air con didn’t work

Ok. The air con didn’t work and you can’t open the windows and it was a heatwave. BUT. They have in connecting rooms so travelling with the kids was great and the location, having just taking the ferry over from the U.K. was amazing. Several decent restaurants in the square behind the hotel, a play ground, 7/7 pharmacy open on Sunday. We are coming back! Please sort the air con (pr at least let us open the windows!
