We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdomas we are finding in many budget hotels, the double bed is actually 2 singles pushed together and made up as a double which doesn’t make for the most comfortable nights sleep as one of ends up on the split at some point in the night !
the location was great, bus stop outside and €1.50 ticket takes you into town on the regular service.

United KingdomWe arrived late at 1am because our ferry was delayed. Greeted by a helpful receptionist that checked us in. Close to the motorway and breakfast was good. The boys especially liked making their own freshly squeezed orange juice! Parking is included in the price, we parked outside rather than underground. Nice and easy especially after arriving late at night.

United KingdomLocation was a little difficult. As it was further into the city than we thought it would be. However it was a reasonably easy journey to the ferry next day in St malo.
Staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Food was good and plenty of it. Underground parking which was secure.

FranceToilettes were dirty (smelt urine since our arrival) requested twice to send someone cleaning the third time I had to go to the reception and get the cleaning products my self.. unacceptable for a “3 star” hotel.. 3 night stay and the bin in the room was not cleaned until we asked to send someone empty it .. really puzzled .. we paid ~ 100 € per night for this..
