Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United Kingdomlighting was very dark. the website says parking and I was told to leave my £22,000 Ducati motorcycle on the road outside. shower mount was broken so have to hold it whilst you wash. single beds rather than a double, stiff and uncomfortable. room smelt like cigarette smoke and only slept for 3 hours as the cleaners left the windows open and filled the room with mosquitoes.

FranceAppears the elevator has been broken down for a while now. The bathroom had a strange smell to it. Beware of mosquitoes at night / or come equipped.
Well situated with a 4-min walk to the metro station and close to some bakeries and food chains if you are looking for a quick bite to grab. Staff were welcoming. Room was of a good size and bathroom was clean.

The staff on the front desk were fantastic-so helpful. We were there for the rugby and had an issue with our hire car which had a flat battery. Our French is limited but the front desk couldn’t have been more helpful in resolving the resulting issues for us. Room very basic for what we paid but appreciated that was hugely inflated because of the rugby and was our choice. Great location for the Marseille stadium. Breakfast was fine.

EstoniaIt's quite noisy, you hear a lot of what's happening on the streets as well as around you (upstairs, downstairs, in the hallway), but most buildings in Marseille are built like this, not much to do about it. Luckily we were used to city noises, but if you're very sensitive to things like this, be mindful.
Staff is very attentive and nice, and honestly the price is fair for what you get. It was a clean hotel, with all the basics and not much extra, but we didn't mind, as we only stayed there for sleep.
