Upon arriving the doors were opened for us ; we were first in line followed by a young man and I think a couple.As I took off my compression gloves I pulled off a bracelet which the staff person and the young man noted and promptly told me.I went to the desk and was looking on my mobile for my booking confirmation but the receptionist talked past me and started to deal with the young man, I will point out he was French.He mentioned he wasn’t first in line but the receptionist spoke to him in French and mentioned something about us being English .This I took to be a derogatory remark but my wife asked me not to say anything to the receptionist but I took it to be not in our favour. Yes we are English but have lived in Spain for 19 years and I am as good as fluent,a lot of Spanish and French words are similar,perhaps the receptionist should learn that fact and be careful what she says about the clientele.

Easy to find.Normally Ibis Budget are good value,some more than others.

It’s a budget hotel, for me, just to sleep a couple of hours during my travel. The facilities are a bit outdated when comparing to the one in Bordeaux but very clean, quiet, also had some vending machines with snacks and coffee. Very handy near the motorway, staff very nice and pleasant

No working airconditioning. Shower head broken. Showerhead mount broken off. No soap. Room was very hot. Hotel was smelly from early days smoking and not updated or cleaned.

The bathroom was in very poor condition, sadly our neighbours were very noisy, and whilst the breakfast was cheap it wasn't all that. Had the Ibis dinner the night before but didn't get the quest discount. Food was pretty poor. That said, you get what you pay for, and we didn't pay much so we didn't get much 😃

The reception team was very helpful, the room was fairly clean, and plenty of space for off street parking.

Really good location en route to Spain. Spacious room, comfortable beds and very clean. Free drinking water taps and microwave in reception area. As we have an electric car we appreciated the chargers outside the hotel.

I stayed at a budget Ibis in Bordeaux, great and quirky. The Ibis at Poitier was worn out and the shower curtain has mold at the bottom. Carpet dirty. Outside the window was a discarded shopping trolly ! Sheets and bed clean and comfy.

The breakfast was horrendous. The croissants were not fresh. No variety. Bread was only Baguette. The staff was not really friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is very small. An expensive breakfast.

Intense smell of cigarettes smoking and lack of cleanliness

Unfortunately, my experience at Ibis booked through Booking.com fell short of expectations. The room was smaller and in poorer condition than advertised. The smell of cigarettes from nearby rooms was intense throughout the night. Despite numerous requests, the issue was not addressed by the staff, who were unhelpful and unaccommodating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Took dog out for a walk at 05:00, 05:15 couldn't get back in as night porter was asleep. After 15 minutes of pressing the buzzer went next door to large Ibis hotel so the night porter could phone the other one to open the door. Stayed here many times and this is the first time it's not been a 100% positive stay.

When we arrived the place looked uninviting. The receptionist was sat in a very small reception/ breakfast room She gave us the key we got to the room it was freezing and uninviting. The whole hotel did nothing for us Fortunately the sister hotel next door had availability and we were allowed to upgrade. But better hotel. Did not pay a lot more stay there … Lesson learnt

The room was very poor. The original room (122) was unacceptable. The bed sheets were stained with blood. The cleanliness was lacking. Upon raising the issues at reception, we were moved to room 123. We had a meal at the other ibis hotel. One member of staff was very rude. Breakfast was very poor and not replenished.
