You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomWe couldn't get into the room - we had the code but the door didn't open (there were no staff on site). Several other guests tried to help - eventually banging the door by the lock meant we could open the door. We messaged Booking.com who replied saying they'd reply within 24 hours then resent the how to get the room code message. When you go to the address the IBIS isn't clearly sign posted so we drove away initially thinking we were in the wrong place (we weren't)

United KingdomThe people were not there during check in times. The cleaners took my t shirt and I had to complain 4 times to get it back, and the person there kept saying ‘I’m busy’. The beds were uncomfortable. The hot water did not work for a day. The wifi stops at 11pm There were so many bugs and flies in the room. There is no lobby space. Had issues with the door sometimes not locking properly.

United StatesNothing wrong with the room itself, but bathroom/shower were miniscule. Also, A/C did not work, which was a huge issue considering the heat. They informed us just a week or two before we went, so it was too late to book another hotel. I'm guessing this was intentional. When I asked for an update a few days prior to going on our trip, I never received a reply. Also, the code changed on our room one night and had to wait for them to update it.
Decent value considering the area. Nothing wrong with the room itself, but bathroom/shower were miniscule. The location was decent for what we needed. I think overall, would be worth staying here if just passing through and on a budget.
