Why can’t check-in be before 4pm? Other Ibis’s have either Noon, 2pm or 3pm. As the sink is outside of the washroom, it would be nice to have had a curtain to draw.

Fairly easy to find - Ibis had some signs on streets to show you the direction; a little ways out of town. Had free parking. A couple kilometres walking into town, but it’s doable.

Bunk bed over main bed, had to watch getting into the bed in case you hit your head.

It was as you would expect a budget hotel, comfortable but basic. Had to drive 5 mins to town centre. Wi-Fi worked and ample safe parking.

The lady on the reception was very helpful in resolving a couple of our personal requirements. The breakfast was good for a budget place and the staff were friendly.

Very basic room with no separate bathroom so best not to go with people you aren't already comfortable with.

Clean room perfect for a one night stay. Free secure parking. Easy walk into the town centre.

Nothing to dislike, Ibis Budget are very good at providing a service.

Good location near the town, restaurants, supermarket and main roads. Easy to communicate with reception who spoke good English. The room and bathroom were a good size and decorated well. The bed was comfortable,the shower was hot. The room had air conditioning which was very welcome. The breakfast was varied and at a sensible price.

No Access to hot water for a cup of tea on arrival!

Lovely quiet setting on edge of town but easy safe access by bike or foot to town. Top floor room so good view and quiet. Breakfast and staff. Good parking arrangements.

Room a front of hotel, no real view, but not overlooked. Early morning delivery very noisy at 6.30am. No aircon so had to have window open.

The check-in machine at the front door didn't take into account i reserved for two days but staff quickly fixed that. Was on the basement floor, so it was a bit dark.

Perfectly serviceable with nice staff. At about a 30minute walk from the centre of Amboise leaves it at the limit of a nice walk but going back up the hill might be a bit much after a long day. Good parking and location is perfect for driving off to all the Chateaux of the Loire valley

There were only 2 towels on the 2 different stays even if during the booking I answered questions about how many people, how many children, even the age of the child. Unfortunately, only the adults were provided with towels, no towel for the child on both stays.

Good location, easy access

Room was a bit small. Shower opens into the room so it required some yelling back and forth with my friend to make it work. It was a bit far from the town and we needed to drive in.

It was excellent value for our stay. Parking was included and gated after a certain hour. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and basics adequately provided. The breakfast was excellent value and quite good.

Room was very warm and no AC available. Opened window and room cooled off. The sink and shower were in the room, although toilet was in a separate room. Fine since I was traveling alone, but may be a concern if more than 1 person is staying.

Room was clean, quiet and updated, although small. But enough for 1 person for 1 night. Liked that there was a USB plug next to the socket. Hotel is not in walking distance of any shops or restaurants, but is within driving distance. Location and cost of the room were perfect for my needs.

The hotel staff does not speak English. Not a word. It was very difficult to communicate with them.

Although the hotel staff do not speak a word of English, we managed to communicate with them in pantomime. They were very patient. Everything we asked for, we got.
