Wonderful view, helpful staff, very close to Saint Paul de Vence

We didn’t have a car so the walk into St Paul De Vence was about 20 minutes which was fine. However, with it being a 4 star hotel, I did expect that we could buy something for lunch and some drinks. There was nothing available and worse still, no shops, cafes or bars close by. Breakfast was very limited so I asked for a boiled egg one morning to be told it would be 25 euros extra 🤣 No shower but a shower attachment on the tap in the bath so water went everywhere and no shower curtain. We asked to keep our room for a few hours extra but was told it wasn’t possible. Then sat and watched other guests vacate their rooms whenever they liked. No courtesy room so we had to change in reception.

Lovely clean property in a good location (if you have a car). Lovely pool and plenty of sunbeds. I have to say the robes in the rooms were luxurious!Great views of the village and landscape. Very peaceful.

Did NOT like the small side window and door (plane glass)looking into the bathroom. It should be a private space.

We had a lovely time at the hotel, staff were friendly and very helpful, Shelley was just so helpful with any questions we had. The pool area was great, clean, good sunbeds very relaxing after a day out. Breakfast was good would have liked abit more variety, maybe eggs sometimes. Parking was abit tight but we managed to get the car in the space.The walk to eat at night was no problem as it was only 15mins away .Lovely restaurants in the walls of st.paul de vence,.There was a lounge in the hotel but did not use it as it was tucked away behind the front desk, didn't see anybody use it. It would have been nice to sit when you have just walked back from the 15 walk back from the restaurants, also no bar which would have been good. It would be welcoming to have the lounge at the front and the kitchen and reception at the back,(just a thought).We had a lovely room on the top floor with lovely views of pool and nice and sea. Overall a lovely hotel.

We would have liked it better if we could have had a simple snack at lunchtime. Just a little too far and too dangerous to walk to the village. However Laurent was a very good and reliable chauffeur.

Excellent breakfasts. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Very clean rooms. Good quality towels and bed linen, changed frequently. Towelling robes.

I’d suggest refurbishing bathroom and equipping the internal windowns to the bedroom with thicker curtains. It’s a little bit out of date. Nowhere near there is a decent grocery store. Bear in mind that the hotel has an outdated policy of not allowing “drinks from outside”.

The landscape that opens up and sounds of nature while sitting on the balcony are fabulous. The vibe is perfect. At least, when the hotel is half empty like during my stay. It’s something I highly recommend to enjoy. I wish I had time to spend here one more night. The standard rooms are not very spacious for 2 persons, however, the balcony compensates that inconvenience. Very delicious French breakfast. The hotel is easily reachable by public bus from both Vence and Nice.

The staff were very friendly and the location was wonderful, just a short walk to the historic town. The hotel had a boutique feel to it. The breakfast was lovely, especially sat out in the garden.

Some things a bit worn.

Great location, old-fashioned glamour high over Nice, pool, and elegant room. Manager Shelley was terrific. Very close to the medieval walled city of St. Paul de Vance. The Vergers Suite had sitting area and private facing onto the pool.

We ordered breakfast on our first morning but not again as it was basic & over-priced (£15 per person for a coffee, croissant, bit of bread, ham & cheese!). The waitresses were pleasant but the concierge was not particularly helpful or welcoming on our arrival. Parking is a little tight when the hotel is busy.

Good location just outside the town (it takes around 15 minutes to walk to the old walls). Our room was lovely, cool, clean & comfortable with a patio by the pool.

It would have been nice to have a fridge.

The room was lovely. The little balcony overlooking the pool was nice. It was lovely and quiet when we were there. The bakery next door has amazing croissants fresh & hot early in the morning.

Great hotel, large room and bathroom. Loved laying out by the pool in the afternoon. Very easy to communicate with staff. Bus stop located across the street, as well at 15 min walk to town.

It is as shown on picture nice pool, very quiet and secluded. Breakfast available half hour drive into nice. Staff were very helpful when asking for advice on travel in nice for the rugby.

We stayed again for a couple of days at this Hotel in what are very peaceful and tranquil surroundings only a 10-15 min walk from St Paul de Vence. The hotel rooms are a good standard and all look out on to the pool. The staff as usual were very friendly and helpful and they made the stay even more special for all of us. We will definitely visit again!

It would have been great to have tea/ coffee making facilities in the rooms as any food or drink was at an extra cost.

The location is perfect for exploring the Cote D’Azur region. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Small thing, the sink tap in room 4 dripped. No stand up shower option, only hand held over the bath.

Great little hotel 15-20 minutes walk from St-Paul-de-Vence. Nice comfortable stylish room, good A/C Staff were great. Nice pool with drinks service. Comfortable big double bed.
