We greatly enjoyed our stay at Auberge du Bon Laboureur. Our room was large and very comfortable. The staff were very nice and very helpful! The breakfasts were quite good, as were the meals at the restaurant. We hope we can return someday!

The shower and bathroom were a bit disappointing for the money.

The restaurant was exceptional and staff wonderful. The second night they were full for food and gave us a good recommendation over the road but would have squeezed us in if needed. The pool was a little warm at 28’ C for us and over the road but a good size. It perfect situation for visiting the chateau which is worth spending time over as both inside and out are fantastic.

Everything! Very quaint and in a delightful location. Good parking, we had a lovely spacious room with a super king size bed which I can honestly say was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Very nicely appointed bathroom with upmarket toiletries etc and a great coffee machine in the room. The grounds are lovely with lots of different little seating areas, there is also a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Dinner was excellent in the evening, all very professional and a nice atmosphere.

The breakfast was over-priced for what it was. Circa 50 euros per day for a couple for a hot breakfast is a lot! Obviously, one can choose not to have breakfast.

There was nothing to dislike.

I have found my favourite hotel and happy place. I cannot express enough how much we enjoyed our stay. We stayed two nights and dined on the restaurant both evenings and the experience was amazing. We even had hot air balloons flying above us. The room was well furnished and the bed and linen sumptuous. This is an individual privately owned Auberge and this is reflected in the unique furnishings and decor. The pool area was very private and clean. Easy walking distance to the Chateau.

There really aren't any negatives I can think of, it ticked all the boxes. Perhaps dinner is a bit on the expensive side but that's the same everywhere these days.

With a luxurious room, exquisite food and the friendliest service, we had such a lovely stay. The pool was a little oasis and a real touch of luxury. Dining outside was fabulous, excellent food and a hugely extensive wine list. Although we checked out of the room the following morning, they let us use the pool late in to the day after a very hot visit to Chateau de Chenonceau
