Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaAs you arrive at Parc de Commerce, the access to the property is not straight forward. You come straight from the motorway into what seems like a derelict area, you are then funnelled into a single one way road and finish at a 4 way intersection. The road to the left leads back to the motorway; the driveway ahead has a massive locked gate and the open gate and access road to the right has 2 security guards on patrol. My first thought was had I finished up at the rear of the property. So thinking the guards were my best bet, I proceeded towards the guards and sought directions They advised you must drive right up to a large gate which then opens automatically. Why would you have a giant locked gate which was followed by another boom gate, if they open automatically? Any car thief could drive an old wreck in there, chose a new car with the exit code, which is clearly displayed in bold numbers at reception. If the purposed of the gates is to protect guests cars; then this code should be far more discrete. Need instructions for arrival day and code should be sent to guests on departure day.
Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was sufficient for our purpose.

AustraliaAccessing it was a pain. There’s only one path in after hours and it’s not the simplest. Also if you need to be picked up by an Uber or Bolt, make sure you tell them to come right up to the gate and it will automatically open. I lost a bolt ride because the driver didn’t come up to the gate and couldn’t figure it out… and we couldn’t get to him on time because we had to hike the long way around with luggage.
It was okay… just enough…

SwedenThe whole place felt very fishy, people were clearly doing drugs outside. The staff did not speak English. The rooms were very small and you could hear everything going on outside and in the other rooms. The room was extremely hot at night with no AC or fan.
Good size bed.

ItalyThe room is small (someone would say "cozy"). I admit there was barely space for stretching legs. The room did not have a storage space (luckily I was travelling for only 2 nights). Bathroom really tiny. I understand space is an asset, but there is plenty of land around for making things a little bit more more comfortable for passengers...2 to 3 square metres more per room could have made the difference Many spider webs in corners and on ceiling.
Extremely close to Parc Des Expositions. I did not want to travel with train after the fair, and this was a budget solutions to it. I do not know if I will make the same choice in the future, however... other hotels, more close to the centre, can have the same price tag; and the commute time (1 hour) can value the proximity to what the city centre can offer

BelgiumThe restroom facilities have encountered some challenges. They are shared by individuals of all genders. To be frank, I attribute a portion of this issue to the guests, who, as adults, should show respect for the facility and consider that others also rely on it.
The staff is incredibly accommodating. They allowed us to leave our bags and retrieve them later in the day, even after the official check-in time had passed. Moreover, they consistently exhibited politeness and provided valuable assistance.

FranceIt is hard to find on foot when you arrive by RER. Maybe more signs to help locate the hotel? The hotel is next to a very busy freeway and the noise at night was loud. But besides this, it was very comfortable.
