Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe property listed they included toiletries but there was only an “all in one” wash, no hair conditioner or body lotion. There was a communal ironing space. One of the twin bed mattresses was placed upside down and my daughter was sleeping on springs until we figured it out our last night there. The king mattresses (2 twins put together) were worn and ready to be replaced. Pillows were okay.
The staff were very friendly and responsive. The location was amazing, just a few blocks down from the Arch and blocks from the Champs-Élysées. The quad room was great with (American) King for us parents and a twin for each of our 2 kids.

NetherlandsThe fact that we had to leave our room key at the reception, this was kind of odd to me. Furthermore, the room did not have a key for the safe and the power was out the moment we arrived into the room (the employee fixed this immediately so it was not a big deal)
The balcony was super nice, The room was clean and the amenities were sufficient. It was a super nice view and I enjoyed the kindness of the staff very much. There were also some stores nearby and the central location was a nice addition.

We had a great experience staying with the hotel. The reception staff were extremely helpful. We arrived early and it was raining, the staff took the efford to check and let us check-in the room before 12pm. Rhe room was so clean and comfortable, quiet and accessible with life (we had 2 big luggages).

United StatesNothing was offered extra apart from the night stay. Breakfast coffee and everything else you needed to pay out of pocket. We were on ground floor so there was no real view.
The hotel was clean, nice and the staff was very welcoming. The location was just five minutes walk from Arc de Triumph , in a very well connected location. We greatly recommend this hotel.

United StatesMy son and I ran the Paris Marathon and this hotel was perfect for location for the marathon, it was located near the arc de triomphe and other major attractions. Plenty of restaurants and shops near by to entertain yourself. It was a lovely spot and the staff were very helpful. I would stay again and highly recommend
