Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

ArmeniaThe staff went out of their way to ensure we had a very wonderful stay at our hotel. Everyone was so kind, so attentive and so caring towards us. During check in we were upgraded to a superior room which was chic and fantastic. I loved the coffee machine, the aesthetics of the room, the sheets and fabulous toiletries. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of foods to choose from in the morning. Located near the Arc de triomphe with many cafes and restaurants in the area. The metro station is 100m from the hotel. Thank you very much for everything!

The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite large. The aircon worked well and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was also well located for RER and metro with lots of dining nearby. The area was safe and pretty to walk around.

Highly likely that this is already my favourite hotel in Paris. 1.) I’ve never slept as comfortably in a hotel as much as I did at the Banville 2.) I missed it from the moment I checked out The staff is beyond amazing, some of the nicest, most accommodating people you will ever meet — when dealing with them, you could feel like they’re happy to be there, because they are — not because it’s their job. In my book, that goes a long way (it’s not called “hospitality” for no reason, you can always feel it when people work from + with their hearts). BTW — the rooms are also bigger than the average hotel room in Paris, and they’re clean! And as an added bonus — if you’re like me and you prefer some calm, peace, and quiet : this is one of the best neighbourhoods to stay at (+ really close to the train station, too) — just lovely, all around! Can’t wait to come back and stay here!

A beautiful modern but chic hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. I loved the beautiful decor throughout the hotel. Lovely bright and spacious room with the most wonderful views of The Effiel Tower. Reasonably priced compared to others of the same high standard. A quiet location, 2 minutes walk from the metro and bus and tram services. My husband and I will definitely stay here again.

United KingdomNo shower in the bathroom. This was mentioned in our room facilities which I missed. They did offer us another room which had showers but it was a slight downgrade from our room so we chose to stick with the room we originally booked. The bath was beautiful and huge plus had a shower head so overall it didn’t affect us that much.
Stunning hotel in a great location. The views from our room were beautiful, the rooms were also quite large which is unusual for Paris. Would 100% stay again and recommend this to friends and family.
