Lack of internet!

Compared to the excellent Ibis Budget at Besançon-Viotte station, this is poor - largely prefab and a bit of a walk from town. It was ok inside the room, except for the fact that there was no internet for 24 hours.

Our booking was not reflected in the system and we didn't get the room which we booked. The booking was for 2 triple bed rooms but we got 1 room with double bed and 1 room with 2 single beds.

The location of property was good , near to motorway and even sign marks on road showed the direction and late night checkin is possible

I was not able to pay with Credit Card, I had to pay with cash and they were not able to give me receipt of my payment. I wrote a message on booking.com, but I did not get answer. In the room there was no towel.

Upon arrival, my family and I were exhausted, only to find that out that from our two booked rooms, only one was in an acceptable condition. The second room had an unpleasant odor from uncollected trash and it lacked properly made beds. Because of our initial disappointment, the receptionist eventually kindly managed to find an alternative room for us. However, this process took nearly two hours, during which time our children fell asleep from exhaustion.  To add to our frustration, at 11:30 PM, the receptionist unexpectedly entered the room where I was attempting to sleep. Although it appears to have been a mistake, this sudden intrusion caused me considerable distress.

Nothing what could recompensate dissapointment.

Photos are way better than reality, quite scruffy walls, holes in the bathroom walls, floor was dirty, and had a sense of neglect. Because it was quite cheap I feel you pay for way you get, but I wouldn't recommend it if you were travelling by yourself, as it also didn't feel like a super safe part of town to walk around after dark.

As price is by the room, two of us shared so very reasonable cost wise. They also put our other friend in the next room which shared the same mini corridor, so felt like we had a 'wing' to ourselves. Handy bus stop outside to get there from centre of town.

The night staff had his room next to ours and he opened the door every hour or so and it made a lot of noice. Would have been easy to be fixed with a little oil or choose a room that isn't next to a customer. Also lack of common sense because opening a door that squeaks will certainly wake up anyone close by who tries to sleep. Some of the staff had zero english knowledge, coffee machine was broken, window was broken.

The Price was ok and the location not bad.

It looks as hotel shortly before close or necessary renovation. Damaged items, lights, doors... The worst experience under "Ibis Budget" label. Breakfas - better without comment!

Location nearby highway, free parking. The room itself was acceptable.

The smell of the room was awful so I had slept with open window all night. The light breakfast service was very limited.

The bathroom is very similar to the one on the plane. When you sit on the toilet, your knees touch the door. They don't put bedding on the bed upstairs, and the same thing happened to me in another ibis budget, it seems they're too lazy to do it. There is just one plug in the entire room.

It is a good price if you are going to use it only for sleeping. The people at the reception are very friendly. Good cleaning.

Checkin was horrible. Receptionist cannot speak english at all. It took him 30 mins to verify if we paid for accomodation or not. Bathroom was not so clean and spacious. Breakfast was not good. No plates or croisonts ...very basic bread and coffee.

Rooms are just okay for one night stay. Free Parking is available onsite.

The place is affordable but the showers were very uncomfortable (not enough space). Breakfast was good even though there was a lot of problems with the coffee machine. I stayed a whole weekend here so I had time to experience the full service. The staff was very nice. Over all a nice affordable hotel for short stays.

Not nice, not cozy, not comfortable. The place you wish to get out asap once entered. Stink of cigarettes in a room. Mold on windows. Only one set of towels for two people. Expensive breakfast.

Noise at night time was quite loud and a lot of banging. The bathrooms felt like caravan bathrooms.

Really cheap for a large family to stay. Which was perfect for driving through Europe. The kids slept well and the beds were comfy.

I went expecting an average Ibis experience. It was not what we got. The price was similar to other places I stayed on my trip, but the quality of the spaces were well bellow the average, small and badly lit room and bathroom, delapidated fittings, no ventilation (no air conditionig nor fan). Luckly, there was a fire alert on the day I was there and the building was evacuated, so they transfered us to another (better) ibis closer to the city centre.

Friendly staff. Despite a problem with my keycard on the room (the key reader was broken - hanging from the door), they (reluctantly) provided me with a regular mater key (the alternative was to ask for a employee to open the door for me every time I came in and leave the door unlocked thruout).
