Very limited choice of food in the evenings, but a wide choice of restaurants within a few minutes walk down by the harbour.

Beds are not very comfortable - too soft. Door locks are I'm need of repair. Everyone is banging their doors to get them to shut.

Friendly and helpful staff and great location with easy access to the port. We only stayed for one night and did not get a chance to use the facilities but they did have a swimming pool

The manager is exceptional. We had a problem with the room we were first and she immediately took action to remediate the situation. She was very attentive and very energetic.

Great little place, however, they omitted to inform us of it's hilly location, not for infirm or disabled people perhaps, although there seems to be ample facilities to accommodate anyone with infirmities or disabilities. Also, they seem to have a discrepancy on the distance from the airport, their website states 'around 5 miles' it is closer to 35 miles! Our taxi took 39 minutes and said 41 kilometres. Worth mentioning also is the lack of late transport, nothing after 8:30/45 pm, so any flights after that will require an airport taxi at around 85 euros!! A prebooked uber is around 47 euros, worth the booking but still expensive! All in all, a great place but beware of the information above.

The quality of the room was well below expectations. The door to the outside did not have a secure lock and did not close properly. The bathroom was quite old - while it as clean as it could be, for the price and stars you expect something with a more high-level finish.

When we were in our room , even though it was very clean, we felt we were in a shed and didn’t feel it was worth what we paid for. It was quite hot and you had to constantly pull the curtain to get dressed etc for fear that someone would pass in front of your door and see you…

We had one of the two rooms on the ground floor at the end in the annex: - Rooms are very small (though our bathroom was huge) - terass was large, but shared - overall some of the furniture is in need of maintenance or looking a bit tired

- great location in walking distance to beaches and restaurants - although it was high season, hotel and pool felt quiet and laid back - very good breakfast - great service and friendly staff

One member of staff was incredibly rude. I find the manners of the French impeccable I have never met a rude French person or a ruder person to deal with at a hotel. Upon check in she could hardly say hello, failed to tell us anything about breakfast hours or facilities in the hotel like the gym or sauna. Showed us to our room and snarled at us. I was a single mum with 3 kids and she treated us like second class citizens. This lady is not to be confused with the lovely blond lady at front of house who is the manger. This incredibly rude lady is unsuited to hospitality had dark hair unsure of her name.

The location & value for money was good. The interiors were cleaning and aesthetically pleasing.

What I didn’t know when booking was that as I was booking for a family of 4 - all of those rooms are basically in the basement of the hotel (most bottom floor). While you have access to the outside via a sliding glass door - the outdoor area is somewhat share with 2 - 3 other “family” rooms. The room felt dark and while nicely decorated it was not what I was hoping for. The hair dryer was also one that was attached to the wall with a tube that blows hot air. I would expect a real hairdryer these days in a hotel. Traveling from the states - I rely on that appliance in the room. The bathroom had no fan so it got extremely damp in the room and we found a cockroach on the last night near the bed. I’m sure being on the bottom floor contributed to that - but it was a turnoff. I asked about getting a room on a higher floor when we checked in but it was only then that I learned that the “family rooms” were on the bottom floor….. One of the beds was a pull out sofa that was frankly not up to par for sleeping - we all took a turn on it to get a good nights sleep. We were there for 2 nights which was fine but it it were longer I’d have been more frustrated. I think if the hotel could fix a few of these easy things - it would be great.

Loved the pool and ability to walk to the town/beach from the hotel. The breakfast in the morning was also good and convenient. The hotel felt intimate and cozy.

Very small bathroom, and parts of the room looked quite old, also found a coackroach in the room.

Swimming pool was really nice. The location was perfect to spend time in Beaulieu and Villefranche. Maybe nice little beaches to swim too. The bed was sooo comfortable, we slept really well! Really nice staff
