Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandThe location wasn’t the nicest but not the worst
It was clean the rooms were pretty. Just missing a mini fridge to put some snacks in and an iron. But an iron was available upon request.

United KingdomThe room was a bit too small even for budget travel standards, however not an issue for us as we spent the whole day out and came back only for sleeping.
Hotel Brady is in an excellent location with easy access to the main attractions in Paris via a short metro ride or a 20-30 minute walk. The staff are all really nice, helpful and accommodating, making our stay extra special.

LithuaniaThe walls are really thin - we could hear everything from the corridor and our neighbor’s fan, water, or heard them watching video. Our window was just in front of the lift, so we couldn’t open the windows, cause the guests could see our room from there. Cleaning wasn’t good - the floors were dirty and spots and dirt on the bathroom floor. There is no proper lobby and there was always the smell of fried food in the corridor.
The location is just 20 min from Louvre, center Pompidou and other famous locations. Metro station is just 3 min away. The room and bathroom looked nice.

EstoniaI guess you could hear the neighbors if they happen to be loud, but we were lucky - had good quiet neighbors. One suggestion (not criticism!) - as some rooms (ours f.e) face the stair hall, where people passing by can look into the room, maybe some lighter curtains would be good to have on top of the heavier light-blocking curtains. So during day time you can pull the side-curtains aside but you still would have some curtains, that let in the daylight but prevent other people in the stair hall to look inside the room :) . Didn´t expect a 5* hotel, so I´m happy with the place!
Very very very friendly staff - thank you for warm welcome and your hospitality. I loved the bed, could rest really well there. And the curtains to keep away the daylight in the morning. I was a bit afraid, what I can expect from the breakfast, but it was really nice selection. Location just 20 min walking from the river and Notre Dame, we could walk to any sightseeing place from the hotel (Eiffel, Luxembourg park, Montmartre etc). Bathroom was clean, no mold, no moisture.

United KingdomThe location was intimidating at night with an unpleasant element of people who accosted me one night as we returned to the hotel. The rooms were very small but well equipped but the shower frame had parts missing & the drain was very dirty. Also the shower was the smallest I have every encountered.
The breakfast was excellent & the staff were outstanding & very helpful.

LebanonThe entrance can be easily missed if you’re coming for the first time by car/taxi
The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They greet you with a smile on their face and you can ask them anything they’d reply happily. They made a huge difference in the whole experience. The room is slightly small, but that’s how all the rooms are in Paris. It was in fact bigger than other hotels. The bathroom was large and comfortable. Cleanliness was amazing. They were cleaning our room on a daily basis even though we were staying for 6 nights only. The place is actually safe because we were leaving our valuables and no one touched them. The location is just a couple of minutes walking distance from the metro and a street full of restaurants. If we’re going to come back to Paris, we will definitely book this hotel. We will definitely recommend it to our friends.

GermanyOne of the sockets on the wall in the room had USB ports, but they didn't work.
The hotel is small but cosy. Great location in terms of public transport connectivity. Our room had windows facing the the inner yard, so it was pretty quiet in the room. (even when football fans were celebrating the victory on the street late in the night)
