Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

South AfricaI had to place my luggage on the floor instead of a luggage rack.
(Rooms in Paris are on the small side) I stayed in room 209 from 13 - 17 Sept 2024: the room is spacious with double windows - so it is soundproof. ( a metro station is right infront of the Hotel Bleu de Grenelle Tour Eiffel ) The staff at the reception desk, breakfast room and from housekeeping were always friendly and helpful. I looked forward every day to the tasty buffet breakfasts - especially the FRESHLY BAKED pastries. During the day free coffee/tea and MORE fresh pastries were available ! The Tour Eiffel is a short train trip ( 2 stations ) away. I recommend this hotel !

I had a fantastic stay! The hotel is in a convenient location, making it easy to get around. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The room was both beautiful and cozy, and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious with plenty of options. Highly recommend!

United StatesWe loved the hotel! The location was super close to the Metro, which was perfect for us. There were tons of amenities like free treats and tea in the afternoon and umbrellas to use in case it rains. The staff was also very nice.

CanadaWe felt it was a little over priced.
Excellent location. 1min away from train station, walking distance to main attractions i.e. Eiffel Tower, Louvre, La Seine, plentiful restaurants. Hotel very well kept and very clean! Felt very safe. We loved being able to make our own coffee's at anytime of day in the lobby, despite not paying for the included breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful! They had excellent food and direction recommendations.

United KingdomThe shower was a bit clumsy (but spotless) and the air con struggled to keep the room cool, though it did have an effect on the temperature- but at least it whispered- we've been in many places where the air con is super noisy.
A very nice boutique hotel! Staff were amazing and it was spotlessly clean- probably the biggest 2 factors for any stay we have. The Metro is just across the street (and not noisy), making it easy to travel into the core of Paris. It's a neighbourhood where Parisians live, not just tourists, so there are reasonable restaurants and shops all nearby, unlike much of the core of the city. Plus we could see a little bit of the Eiffel Tower above the rooftops.

We booked an Eiffel Tower view room. We could see the top 1/4 of the tower but it was still fun because when it lit up at night we could watch the hourly lights from the hotel after enjoying it in person. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Water and coffee and iced tea available all day at no extra cost - a bonus after a long day of site seeing! The location is close to many good restaurants, a bakery right across the street and metro stop right out the door. It was also easy to walk to the Eiffel Tower and to the Seine for access to many other sites and boat tours. We would highly recommend!

ChileWhen I arrived the person that helped me with the safe box wasn’t very friendly, but it wasn’t a problem to be honest. I’m just pointing it out in the case it is important for others.
The location is great! Three metro lines stop at the La Motte - Picquet Grenelle station, making it very easy and quick to go to different places throughout Paris (directly or with connections). Also there is a Monoprix a few steps away and very nice café bistros. If you like to walk around, it’s very nice to walk to Les Invalides and Tour Eiffel from it. Even though the hotel is nearby the Tour Eiffel, I felt like I wasn’t staying in an area packed with tourists. Overall, if you don’t want to stay where all the tourists are but still want to reach the landmarks rapidly, it is a very good option (it wasn’t my first time in Paris so I didn’t do the typical itinerary, but I did go to Champs-Élysées, Opera, Madeleine, La Defense, Canal Saint-Martin and Bercy by metro without a problem). About the property itself, I had a very good experience overall. Even when it’s next to a metro station, it was very quiet (my room had a view to it), and the breakfast was nice (it had a little bit of everything, it fulfilled my expectations considering what I’d seen and read in Booking). Also during the afternoon there was free food welcoming you at the reception; a very nice touch.

NetherlandsThe desk to work on was kind of small. But then again, there are many restaurants out there you could choose to work from.
The location of the hotel is excellent. Across the street is the metro, which takes you to all the train hubs. They'd like the interior and its style. Memorable.

United KingdomRooms are fairly small and we had been upgraded to a superior room. I imagine the standard rooms would be fairly small but I think this is true for Paris in general.
Staff were very friendly. Beautiful reception area as you first walk in. Convenient location. Lovely shampoo/ conditioner/ shower gel provided. Lift for high floor rooms (this is a small lift though)
