We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Great location, in the heart of the village, a few minutes walk from one of the most beautiful chateau in France. Very clean, thoughtfully designed room for disabled travellers (my husband is blind), very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, easy access via lift. Didn't have time to explore the rest of the hotel - we had breakfast in the village - but beautiful old building cleverly modernised.

United KingdomNothing in regards to the Hotel, but a word of warning that at least one of the nearby restaurants serve very inadequate Loire wine, which, without are subsequent experience the following evening (see above) would have seriously distorted our opinion of what the area had to offer.
The location. The secure parking. The direct access from room to parked car, via lift and closeness between room and parking. The helpful staff. The proximity to famous Chateau and shops and restaurants. The range of interior and exterior seating areas. The advice and assistance to ensure a succesful Monday (when most places are closed) Dinner with a seriously good bottle of Bourgueil wine.

United KingdomNothing really: to get to the car parking you need a pass so it is good to call as you are arriving. Or park nearby (tricky) to call in for it. As a solo traveller this is a little frustrating but I don’t think there is another way to do it.
Very nicely refurbished hotel with excellent secure car parking. Good breakfast and nice garden to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. In the centre of Azay. Very calm, discreet and friendly staff.

NetherlandsThe location is a delight for those looking for a quiet, relaxed experience in the Loire! The breakfast is amazing, and the staff are exceptional. In fact, our shower was having difficulty draining, and it was fixed right away. We really appreciate that level of care! It’s a 2-minute walk to Château d'Azay-le-Rideau and around the corner, there’s a surprising gem of a restaurant we happened to walk into for lunch, l’Aigle d’Or. We arrived at the tail-end of a whirlwind trip around London and France, and it was just the atmosphere we needed to unwind.

The place was excellent, their staff members were incredible. I highly recommend it, I couldn't stay longer but there are some nice shops around the area. The breakfast was lovely and the room was really spacious and clean. I highly recommend it!

On arrival, it was clear that the hotel not only were expecting me, but realised I had stayed before some 3 months earlier - so was greeted with a "welcome back". This is a very powerful greeting, and shows a hotel which values their guests. Great rooms, pleasing public spaces, lovely design features in this refurbished old hotel.

Perfect perfect perfect. Super atmospheric town and hotel, with all in walkable distance, chateau, shops. The welcome was just right, relaxed but informative. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Breakfast included all options, continental to simple cooked, without the unnecessary baked beans and hash browns. Couldn’t fault it.
