We didn't think that we needed to book a table for dinner on an off season Monday evening. Our mistake as the restaurant was fully booked until 9:00 PM. They did offer to seat us after that time, but we declined.

Spacious room with a balcony and view. Free and convenient parking. We had a couple of special requests which the front desk staff quickly and efficiently met. A request for something to eat outside of restaurant hours was provided by the chef in minutes.

The room was relatively small and bathroom a bit outdated, but really didn't impact on enjoyment of the hotel. Would stay here again without hesitation.

The evening meal menu was quite limited in the choice of dishes and unfortunately changed from the night that we arrived and was appealing and on the following night when we had booked was not

Beach was quite a walk and to go anywhere you needed a car or a 20 minute plus walk, no restaurantsbwithin walking distance and the food at the hotel whilst being really good was very limited for choice and the menu did not appear to change which is difficult if you are staying for a while. There is a bar menu, but we were only given this menu, despite asking what it was since arrival, the day before we left when we found one near the pool. Mainly snacks and very light meals

Hotel was clean, reception and cleaning staff very helpful and efficient. Food in the restaurant was very good. Pool was ideal and always could find a suitable spot and lounger to sit on.

We love the Hotel Du Golfe and it’s parklike setting. Everything is leisurely. Relax around the pool or swim in the heated water. Drinks and food delivered to your sun lounger: Dinner is excellent. Staff are pleasant and accommodating. We look forward to our return visit next summer.

No smart tv with only French channels. Room was a little on the small side for a longer stay. No beer on tap at the bar, a ridiculous €7 for a 25cl bottle of beer.

Fantastic location, excellent breakfast plus the breakfast staff are very nice, good swimming pool with plenty of loungers and never too crowded

There were not enough teabags in room and no black tea at all or milk. Also, we were given a conditioner but no shampoo and this was not replenished when requested.

We were upgraded to a sea view room which was lovely. Receptionist was very attentive and helped us to transfer to the property from a nearby town.

It’s a shame there’s a (not very busy) road between hotel and coastline, but it did prevent enjoyment of the hotel.

Decor. Communal areas were well designed, rooms were light and relaxing, bathrooms were well-fitted and pleasing. Gardens were beautifully maintained. Staff very helpful.

There is some road traffic facing the property but after awhile you don’t notice as the grounds and facility are so nice.p

The room was very comfortable. On one occasion we had a balcony room and the other, no balcony. We would definitely choose the balcony room which is bigger. The food in the restaurant was excellent as was service. The pool is heated and pool side amenities were very good. We found reception staff charming. We have driven by Hotel du Golfe many times and are happy we made the decision to stay. The rooms have air conditioning

There is some traffic in the distance but it isn’t heard from the room and the park like setting does muffle the noise.

Beautiful setting with a large heated pool . The room was clean, nice roomy balcony and comfortable bed. The dinner was exceptional.

The pool is a bit small, and the dry cleaning staff is not great. While ironing a too they burned it . But overall everything else was great.

The staff were nice. The room was clean, big , the view was amazing. The services were great as well. The breakfast was tasty. The spa is really good as well.

Rooms small and not well appointed Balcony overlooking the sea was great but the aircon unit blew hot air onto it rendering it unusable. Restaurant overpriced and under portioned! Busy main road 100m away so constant noise. Tiny swimming pool Beach area the other side of a main road and railway line in short nothing good about this hotel and would not recommend it for a holiday location

Experience of taxi service was not great. We could get taxi to destination, but returning to hotel was a nightmare. Taxi ranks unmanned which doesn't bode well for peak season!
