Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

BelgiumVery nice hotel with a beautiful entrance. Very helpful lady at the reception . We arrived earlier and we could already get the key from the room. The room was very clean and stylish, bed was comfortable, good quality of bed linen and towels, a safe for documents in the wardrobe, big TV, spacious bathroom with a shower. Warm and cosy room with a reading corner. An advantage for me was a private parking next door (only 3 places, so better to check prior the arrival if available). The location of the hotel is perfect for those who arrive by car. Direct bus to Montmartre and you are there in 30 min. 2 metro lines to the centre, 25 min. The room was facing the street but the quality of windows is very good and we were not disturbed by the noise. We did not have breakfast, so can not comment on this.

SwitzerlandThe room is extremely small. We asked for two single beds but at the end, the room is so tight that the beds cannot stay away from each other. It looks exactly like a double bed, but splited in the middle.
The location is ideal, and the place is tidy.

TurkeyMetro does not work after 1 at night. The e-bike apps does not cover the area of the hotel. Everything else was very nice. Unless you want to party at night the hotel is quite well.
The hotel is clean and the staff was very friendly. The room is cleaned everyday. The hotel is 10 min walk to the metro nice bakeries and markets around.

FinlandThe room was rather on the small side and the location is not super centric, the metro stop was not that close so it did require a bit of a walk to get to.
The room was clean overall and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and they had two pillows per person which I really appreciated. The shower worked great, had good water pressure and the drain worked properly. The staff was helpful and we were able to do our check in even though it was quite late.

United StatesI’d liked most everything about the property. The only exception would be a smell in the bathroom that just would not go away. We did get used to it and it wasn’t very strong. Just an odor that was annoying. I would suggest asking for a room, that does not face the street as it is very busy. However, windows are excellent and shut out the noise.
For a 3 star hotel I was very impressed by the decor and remodeling. They have done inside the rooms. Bathrooms are new and excellent. Beds comfortable. Rooms a bit small but they do have windows that open. Always nice to get a fresh breeze. Staff was excellent, very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good even though a bit expensive.

SpainI requested early check-in because my flight was arriving shortly after 7, but the room was not ready until noon almost. Possibly I was not clear enough. I did not take the breakfast because vegetarian options were apparently scarce

United KingdomThe air-con wasn’t working in our room. We just opened the window instead but if it was any warmer would definitely raise to the hotel staff.
Nice and clean and not a bad location for Paris. Reasonable walking distance to a train station where you can get to all your destinations for Paris visit.

FranceSize of the room is very decent for Paris and several services are provided such as coffee machine, fridge and drinking water you can collect at fountain. Efforts for reducing energy and water consumption are done. Location is good regarding public transports that can be reached in less than 10 minutes. Convenient stores are located nearby.

PakistanI didn't like the noise from the road. Since, it was pretty warm, so I have to keep the window open and when you open the window, it is too noisy. The cars, bikes and all type of traffic moving from the street all the time. Having said that, I still find it an attractive place to live in.
I like the support that I have received from the staff members. Everyone I met was fabulous and provided full support with extra care and attention.

United Kingdom1. I arrived late. the hotel door was locked and the receptionist was not there. I waited for 15 minutes at the front of the hotel until the receptionist came from outside. the situation was annoying. 2. The first night I couldn't sleep well because there was a lot of noise coming from the cars and motors in the street although I locked all the windows. My advice if you plan to stay here choose the 6th floor which is away from the noise. 3. On The last day one of the receptionists knocked my door at 12 and asked me to leave. the communication and the approach could be in a better way!
1. Room service was excellent you can ask for it every day 2. One of the recipients I can not remember her name ..... she helped me on my second day to change my room ... big thanks to her. 3. I felt the area was safe and there are a couple of restaurants for about 3 minutes walking. 4. Aldi is about 5 minute walking so if you stay long you can buy your needs. 5. I recommend if you plan to stay long book a Superior Double Room or Executive Double Room as the other rooms have no refrigerator 6. WIFI was excellent 7. The bathroom and bed were nice 8. A/C was fantastic 9. Metro about 8 minutes walk
