Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Georgiaas this hotel is located directly on the road, it was loud during the nights. The swimming pool is rather big bath/ jacuzzi than swimming pool:)
Very good, organized room (we stayed in junior suite), comfortable beds, very clean, very well-organized bathroom. We liked also the wardrobe facility, which was a part of the room. Very central, easy access to the most attractions.

SwedenTerrible service and not very good attitude in reception. Did not felt very "welcomed" upon arrival. Bad and extremely slow service in roof top bar. Very small area for sunbeds on rooftop. Worn room and big need for renovation! But, most important - I specificly booked a kingsize bed - but got two separated beds (with a sheet between!)
Super location. Close to old town, transportation and shopping district. Rooftop bar with pool and sunbeds. Great views over old town, southern areas and water.

United KingdomThe price for the SMALLEST glass of wine in the world on the roof top bar was very disappointing ..as a country that makes the produces the best wine this was sad to feel as a tourist being over charged needlessly . The bar area on the floor beneath the pool is a special place but empty .. suggest this is becasue of excessive price policy for drinks
Nothing but the highest praise for all the staff at this hotel in particular reception and in particular Baptiste and Eric for all help with room allocation.. Helpful professional and friendly .. Very special . Room was perfect and location also a very special pace .

United KingdomIt was quite noisy internally from the hotel, there was lots of banging and you could hear people in the corridors, you could also hear the people upstairs or next to us scraping the chairs along the floor a lot. We were woken one day with a call from reception as someone had to come and do ‘technical work’ in our room, 45mins later no one arrived.
It was a good sized room, the bathroom was quite big and the bed was lovely and big and comfy.

United KingdomThe most useless hairdryer I’ve ever experienced. The ‘park view’ was a small bit i could see of the park around the corner. Feel I wasted money paying extra for that. The bed was too soft and the room was tiny
Location and staff were fabulous. The roof pool and bar were good. Gym was also well equipped for me.

United Kingdomthe pool is very small, only a few sunbeds on terrace and no sunshades so disappointing, also you get asked to move at 5.00pm as rooftop used exclusively as bar. We opted to go to private beach with links to hotel (ask at reception payment in euros required) which was a lifesaver with sunbeds, brollys etc..
great location, plesant staff, near to beach and train station, good size room, great breakfast and rooftop bar lovely in the evening

EstoniaPool is small, not worth for booking the place because of it. Terrace seemed to have restaurant part and bar part and we could not sit in the restaurant even if there opened up free seats, so we really could not enjoy the nice view from the rooftop. The room was big, but a little desolate.
Great location in heart of Nice, short walk to old town, beach and shops. Nice roof terrace with live music. Great service at the reception. Junior suite was roomy enough, but was different from the pictures while booking.

The location is excellent walking distance to everything . It was good to have a pool to escape from the heat after the beach. Whilst small the pool was a great spot to relax and have a drink and view the city skyline and coast

United KingdomPool timings were very limited (10-5) meaning outings had to be worked around those times to utilise the pool. Sunloungers around the pool were limited and you couldn’t always get one. Fitness centre was relatively small, as well as the pool (they appeared a lot larger in photos).
Excellent location and the rooms at the front and the roooftop area overlook the old town and promenade. It was very convenient to go out for a few hours, come back and rest, then head out again for the evening. The port was walking distance and we were able to book a snorkelling excursion from there. Tram stop very closeby. Nice sized rooms and regularly cleaned. Good breakfast.

United KingdomFruit flies in the room (likely because we had fresh fruit waiting for us in the room, and possibly for a few hours because we arrived around 6:30pm). Air conditioning was a bit inconsistent - woke up a few times in the night because it was hot, but it would fix itself. Only could connect 2 devices to wifi, which was limiting, and the wifi itself was a little slow. The towels could have been nicer (some had small rips).
Location - can't beat it. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was absolutely amazing as it was our honeymoon - we felt special. The staff were top tier, particularly those at reception and those who cleaned and serviced our room.

IrelandI find the disabled bathroom floor in the shower is a bit slippery when it’s wet.Should change to anti slippery flooring for safety. Just a suggestion thanks.
It’s close to the park and accessible to any transportations. I suggest to stop at the Jean Médecin from the airport it’s straightforward and flat surface than Duranby.

United KingdomThe thermostat on the shower did not work making it unusable as it was stuck on very hot. There was also mould on the bath seals which isn't a great look for a 4 star hotel. I went 3 times to request a technician but it couldn't be fixed. In the end the evening concierge gave me a key to a different room to shower in which wasn't at all ideal but they did give me a discount for this. The cafetiere machine also was broken and leaked all over the floor. Honestly it would be better if the hotel just did a bit of a refurb - then it could be fabulous. The worst bit though was the 5 day music festival going on until after midnight right beneath the hotel that stopped my kids and I from getting a good night's sleep. This should have been made clear at the point of booking as it was ridiculously loud and I felt very sorry for the night concierge who was having to field all the complaints.
Location is superb and the rooms were comfortable. My kids loved the roof top pool which was the highlight of their stay. The staff were very accommodating and professional. A credit to the hotel.

FranceThe property showed its age, with noticeable cleanliness issues. Mold was present in the bathroom, and the outdated shower head needed replacing. Housekeeping was minimal, with a used coffee cup left untouched on the bedside table for three days, and bathrooms not thoroughly cleaned. These issues don't align with the standards expected of a 4-star hotel.
The location is unbeatable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The views from both the room and the rooftop were stunning.
