Elevator to ground floor. Be prepared to walk stairs to get to breakfast.

Aside from having to carry luggage up to first floor this place is great. This is a European hotel with small elevator. Location was excellent and a great value. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Great communication emails explaining parking.

Dreadful configuration of doors and tiny shower.

Maybe remove rugs from rooms. They just do not stay clean. A tile floor would feel cleaner.

Location was perfect. The room very well cleaned daily. Very easy to leave key at hotel and retrieve from attendant upon return. As in most cities, room and elevator are small but not a problem because I travel light.

My room was on the sixth floor and the property has no elevator on the first and the sixth floor. So if you’re travelling with lots of luggage like I did, you will struggle a lot to climb many stairs with your luggages. The staff offers to help but it was difficult.

The room was very clean, comfortable and a good option for a one-night-stay.

I checked to make sure it had an elevator since I have a heavy suitcase. It does. After you walk up a flight of stairs. The elevator goes from first floor to the fifth. My room was on the sixth, which meant another flight of stairs. When I checked in the gentleman could see I had a heavy bag but did not tell me about the second set of stairs, nor offer to switch me to a lower floor. The Internet went out. I tried to call the desk but the phone in the room didn’t work so I had to go down in person and ask about it. I was told this happens regularly as the system updates. The room was clean but the carpeting on the stairs needs to be cleaned/replwced.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was simple but very clean.

There was a bit of street noise; we occasionally had to shut the (double glazed, sturdy) windows to keep it out.

Breakfast was standard French fare - bread and croissants (of top quality). But some yoghurt appeared on the second day and we bought some fruit on the corner.

Some renovation needs to be done as the doors were very old, the rooms would lock with a key, if not anyone could open from the outside, the bathroom door was in poor condition and needed at least to be painted as the bottom part was destroyed. Also the blankets and carpet would need to be replaced.

It was very central yet quiet at night and comfortable. There was 24h reception and everyone was very polite

The rooms, the equipment and the building in general are a bit dated. Neither broken nor dirty, mind, just dated. It is a two star hotel after all.

One very small point - it would have been good to have tea/coffee making facility in the room.

The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of Lyon, but with the feeling of being tucked away and peaceful. Our room was clean and comfortable. For breakfast we had croissants, orange juice and yoghurt with tea or coffee. The staff were always friendly and helpful.
