Breakfast was expensive for what it was. Same Bowl of fruit salad for 2 days which wasn't refreshed. Same with the yoghurts., same selection each day and not replenished. No croissants! Top step on the pool ladder was missing so getting in and out of the pool was a challenge. No sign alerting you to this either which was alarming. Sauna and steam room very good.

Room very clean, good size and all that we needed. Plentiful towels and comfortable bed. Mini fridge, tea and coffee in room all good. Pool and spa was good. Peaceful location. Restaurant pleasant. Simple menu, good quality. Easy to get to airport and centre of town.

As described by other guests, it is a spacious room, very comfortable bed and bathroom. It was just a perfect little stop over on our way to the Netherlands. We also liked the breakfast and the dinner in the restaurant connected to the Hotel was also very nice. Great staff!

A little bit out from La Rochelle, about 12 min drive. Reception only opens from 4pm. Don't try to check in before that time. Needs more attention in the landscaping to make the whole place more presentable.

Spacious room and super comfy bedding. Good size bathroom with extra large sink. The heated towel rack is a good add. Onsite facilities like swimming pool and sauna room. Bathrobe and slippers are included. The reception team speaks very well in English.

Décor a little bit tired and needs updating. A little bit isolated but only a short drive to a retail centre and 4km from La Rochelle.

For the price that we paid I think the dinner, lunch and breakfast could be much better. We were served the same amuse bouche 3 times…. 3 different meals…

The building itself is gorgeous, the spa is very clean and well maintained. There is a beautiful garden and of course, the vineyard.

Our only issue with this hotel is the pool temperature, it’s always so cold! We love swimming and this is why you choose hotels with pools, but this one just isn’t enjoyable.

This is a beautiful hotel that we have stayed in before and would stay in again. The staff are lovely and friendly. The breakfast choice is perfect and very yummy. The spa area is very nice.

Nice to stay in a hotel with a bit of character! There is a faded elegance about the place but it still offered a sense of something a bit different. We chose this place to avoid the noisy and busy tourist spot of La Rochelle, wanting somewhere quiet after a long drive, and we weren't disappointed. The suite was spacious, very clean and comfortable, with a pleasant garden view on the ground floor. Also good to have a full restaurant with a pleasing but very reasonably priced menu. The restaurant staff member was excellent. The heated indoor pool was a bonus! Easy parking. For a one night stopover it ticked all the boxes.

we were unable to get a taxi to the city centre in the afternoon, this was the only down side to our stay.

We had a beautiful spacious room with a comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities and a mini fridge. Bathrobes and slippers were provided in each room. The pool was very relaxing and a lovely temperature. The hotel was peaceful and beautifully decorated. We had a delicious evening meal in the bar and a lovely breakfast the following morning. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Nowhere near to walk too but large hyper market 5 minutes drive away. Wasn’t impressed that a customer bought his dog not the restaurant area one evening.

Nice hotel only 10 minutes drive to the harbour of La Rochelle. Room was nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was continental style.

Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. No features left from the old Chateau, no lounge area to sit and read inside and it was boiling outside so stuck in the not too well lit room. Could here the dogs barking next door when the owners went for food. Breakfast was not worth €15, so only had breakfast once.

The pool was lovely, but no jacuzzi spa to relax in, so how they call it a Spa hotel I don't know ! Room.was lovely.
