Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Helene & Jacques were super hosts; friendly, helpful & made us feel very welcome. Great location, although our SatNav took us to the centre of the village, but we found it after asking a local. The continental breakfasts were everything we expected. We were asked at the start of our stay what we would like to eat for breakfast. Excellent, fresh coffee made to order. Breakfast was delivered to our terrace each morning, but alternatively it can be served by the pool in a covered area. Beautiful, clean, big pool surrounded by beautiful views. Great recommendations for local restaurants including Auberge de La Nauze just a few kilometers away and La Table de Leo, 30 mins away but really excellent. We were also given the Market schedule for the area and a recommendation to visit Chateau de Biron, which we hadnt visited before. All in all a very pleasant three night stay & highly recommend

Super tranquil setting + well located for visiting Beynac, Sarlat, Chateau Milandes etc. We stayed a week and enjoyed the peaceful country setting, very spacious rooms with outdoor seating areas, lovely hot tub and sparking pool. Very well priced! I highly recommend.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and every attention to detail is taken care of, from Slippers and pool towels, to glasses water and a very nice personal welcome note. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and countryside views from our terrace. A lovely traditional French Continental breakfast is served on your your terrace, or on the terrace of the beautiful furnished dining area in the main residence. The location is so quiet and the large pool and hot tub is the perfect place to relax. Sylvain, the owner/host has created an absolutely beautiful and welcoming environment for guests. It's just Perfect in every way. We are ex hoteliers, travel a lot and this is the best B&B we have ever stayed in. We will not hesitate to reserve again if in the region and highly recommend it, especially for couples/adults needing some time out.
