The location is amazing (10-15 minutes walk to Louvre), rooms clean and comfy, staff pleasant. You could simply feel the Parisian vibes all the way. We would definitely recommend Hotel des Comedies to families and all the people who would like to experience the most beautiful city in the world.

No, sleepers in the room. Under the bed we found someone's socks. Shower too small and there was no curtain. Toilet door lock was damaged. Wardrobe is too small. In general, it needs refurbishment.

The staff was amicable and helpful. Breakfast exceeded our expectations. The location was great, just a 10-15 minute walk from the Opera. This part of the city is full of restaurants but the street where the hotel is located is quiet. For the 3-star hotel in Paris, we got much more than we expected.

Although rooms were clean and comfortable they are tired. Bathroom really needs refurbishing - although clean it was very old and tiling was chipped / cracked.

Location was excellent, very close to a few metro stops and there was some good bars, bistros and cafes within walking distance. Room was clean and comfortable and well equipped for a 3* hotel room - good to have the kettle, free safe, fridge, hairdryer. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Getting in and out of the big tub to shower, but I’m short.

Convenient to two Metro stations, 2 to 4 minutes away, and close to Gare de l’Est and Gare du Nord. Lively area with shops and restaurants close by, but hotel on a quiet street. Reception is amazing, helpful even before I arrived. Always pleasant and smiling.

WiFi was spotty. I thought breakfast was included but it wasn't. Had I known I would have eaten elsewhere. It wasn't a bad breakfast just very simple for the charge.

Bathroom could have used a towel hook or rack. I really didn't have any other observations.

The room was very charming and well appointed. Surprise that I had a safe and refrigerator. It was small but for me it was perfect because I do not stay in the room but go out everyday. Very quiet which is difficult to find in Paris. Adjacent to the Metro and within a walking distance to restaurants and cafes. I definitely will go back and stay. The front desk staff was very helpful in how to navigate the city and ordered a taxi for me when I was ready to leave.

The WiFi connection in the bedrooms were not great. We experienced an intermittent (disappearance of the whole signal at times) and mostly poor signal delivery during our stay.

As requested, given our family with smaller children, we were allocated two rooms close (next) to each other. The rooms were well appointed with good space and comfortable beds.
