The iron was cheap and not a steam iron. We also had to ask for more toilet paper as it was not replaced one day after room was cleaned. We had room on the street so it was a little noisy.

I liked the staff and location and how modern it was. The free items in mini bar was good as was the free afternoon pastries. The robe was big and fit me as a tall man which I liked.

The cleaning lady sometimes just took the towels without leaving us the new ones, the same thing with the soap. And, the fire alarm woke us up twice, it turned out that it was a false alarm due to some spa issues, but it definitely woke up the entire hotel...

Hotel des Carmes is a wonderful find in the heart of Paris! Located just a short walk from Notre Dame, it’s the perfect base for exploring the city. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and my room was cozy, clean, and surprisingly quiet. The breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with classic French pastries. The location is unbeatable, surrounded by cafes, shops, and easy access to public transport. Highly recommended for a comfortable, authentic Parisian experience!

We stayed 3 nights and the cleaners neglected to clean our room on day 2. There was an empty shampoo/body wash bottle so we had to request a new one twice and our wet towels were not changed, nor bins emptied or beds tidied. Shampoo and towels were only brought to the door in the evening when we returned and had to complain to reception.

Conveniently located, this hotel was a great stay for a short trip in Paris. We were a walking distance from the Pantheon, Notre Dame and Boulevard Saint Germain. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was very poor. The coffee machine dispensed lukewarm coffee and lukewarm hot water. We had to ask for breakfast teabags every morning and they were distributed one at a time. There was very little bread for toast left out, we had to keep asking for more sliced bread.

The hotel is in an excellent location. There are lots of good restaurants within a 15 minute walk. The rooms are small, although the bathroom was a reasonable size, with a good shower. The reception staff were helpful and a small bottle of sparking wine was left for my friend in her room, for her birthday. Since posting this review, I have been contacted by the hotel, regarding the breakfast provision in particular. They apologised for our disappointing experience and assured me that they are addressing the issues I raised. I was very impressed by the prompt reply and assurances I received from the hotel's front desk.

ÑA, we loved our stay!

We loved the location along a quiet street, with the pantheon in sight. The staff were so friendly, we had so many questions about the city that they were more than willing to answer. We loved our room, big comfy bed with the most comfortable pillows and big cozy duvet. The shower and bathroom were larger than we expected which was a plus as well! Not to mention the sauna, which was a whole experience within itself! Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Would for sure be back if we find ourselves in Paris again!

we needed to ask for iron a few times and remind about it, shampoo bottle was empty, but they brought us the refill after we asked. I would suggest to change carpets in the hotel since it smells a bit and look worn out.

Great location just a few blocks from the Seine in the Latin Quarter. Beautiful boutique hotel with excellent accommodations. Lively and beautiful arrondissement, yet away from the noise and bustle. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay.

The room was very small and barely space to keep your luggage. Having seen similar room sizes in large cities like New York, I was not too surprised and could make the best of it, especially given the location and price.

The location was great and the hotel lobby and rooms were well kept and clean. The rooms were very small though. Besides that, everything else was very good for the price.

Restocking the coffee pods would have been appreciated for a 2 night stay- only two pods were given for two people for the entire stay. Fridge didn't work, we thought it was the fridge settings but it was not, which was annoying as we had food that we needed to throw as it went off. Hotel couldn't help with providing ice.

The hotel confirmed an early checkin, but when we have arrived, the room was not ready for another couple of hours. It is inconvenient. Please don’t misguide visitors with false promises.
