Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IsraelRoom was a bit small and probably would not be the best for friends but more suitable for couples. However I'm pretty sure most of the rooms in Paris are pretty small.
Location was good, about 5 minutes walk from couple of metro stations, air conditioner was ok as well which might be important in hot summer days. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but there was a nearby supermarket as well as patisserie and boulangerie which were great! Also good restaurants nearby.

I really liked the location of the hotel. 4 minutes from Montparnasse Tower and 13 minutes from Luxembourg. The metro station is 1-2 minutes away. There are many varied restaurants, pharmacy and small supermarkets in the community.

United KingdomWalls are quite thin so we could hear people moving around and speaking, mainly in the corridors. Not a major issue unless we slept in until late morning. Free toiletries only included shower gel - not a major issue but something that might be unexpected.
Well connected to the rest of the city - Hotel is situated between two train stations of different lines so most central attractions are within 20-30 minutes of travel. Our room had decent air conditioning and bathroom. The reception is staffed 24/7 which was very convenient, as you are required to leave the keys at the hotel. Not all staff are particularly friendly but were polite and accommodating to us as non-French speakers. Would recommend booking on their own website as they may offer better prices.

Very friendly staff, super comfortable beds, and nice bathroom. We were able to extend our stay quite spontaneously without any issues. Room service was also very good and friendly. The hotel is located in a quite vibrant neighbourhood with a lot of bars, cafés, shops and restaurants right arounds the corner. Metro stations are also very close by so getting around was very easy.
