In front of the hotel, the new building "Iconic" is being completed. Workers work at night. There is noise in the room, but this is normal.

The hotel is in a very good location, just a 5-minute walk to the train station, 2 minutes to the nearest tram. The hotel staff is very helpful, helped and answered all questions.

The rooms could to with a bit of TLC - they are a littler run down and not greatly looked after. The complimentary coffee/tea wasn't replaced when used every morning - and we were out all day, plenty of time to replace them. I know it's a bit petty, but still.

The location next to the train station is perfect! Easy access in- and out. And the city center is just there!

The WC door doesn't close, the lights near the bed didn't work. Breakfast is 5 euro per day per person but it was far from a balanced meal : 2 pastries, one tea/ coffee and a bottle of juice. If that's your thing, go ahead. If not, use that money to go to the supermarket right in front of the hotel and get healthier options

Hallway was dark, no lighting and was a little frightening going up 5 flights of stairs alone in the dark. Train station and construction loud all night.

Pillows were the worst I've experienced anywhere in the entire world. Cutting rebar and drilling across the street literally went until 2am. We usually take the stairs instead of an elevator but these were unlit and did not appear safe.

Staff are kind and accommodating. Monoprix across the street is great.

The breakfast was minimal and I would recommend eating breakfast at one of the several nearby bakeries or cafes instead. The small elevator gets busy at times so you do have to wait a bit, which is typical of a hotel like this.

I chose this hotel for its location immediately adjacent to the main line railway station. It is also adjacent to a tramway stop which gives access to other parts of the city without the need for a car. The room was clean and pleasant.

The room we had was looking out to the main street, and it was noisy in the night. There were things in the hotel and the room that need a repair (the cealing in the hallway was missing pannels, and the paint of the bathroom door was chipped).

The first night at 4:30 am we had to get out of the hotel because of the fire alarm. It was just the hot water of a kettle. The following day we ask for big towels at the desk and they didn’t give us because the man at the desk say he was only for security. He didn’t solve our request. We had to wait till the following day and ask for the towels to the lady in charge of cleaning the room. We expected a better service.

The shower is a bit small. I'm only 5'3 so I'm not a tall person and even for me it was tight. It can't be helped and I would still stay here again despite of it. Just something to keep in mind. Another thing was that the particular room I was in had a slanted ceiling that came down pretty low. There were many times when I would hit my head on the low beams. That was rather inconvenient.

I like that the location was near several ethnic restaurants. The indicated Nice's ethnic diversity and it was fun to walk around and discover. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. There is also a housecleaning service so if you need replacement towels or anything that it is available. The room was quaint and comfortable, perfect for one person and I'm really happy with the room I got for the price and the four nights I stayed.

The shower head is propped on the taps, there is no holder that can be reached by most people and it’s very tricky to open a sachet of shower gel while holding the shower head without getting water everywhere. Would be great to have a shower head holder as well as a small shelf to put shampoo etc in the shower.

Fantastic value for money, great location, lovely staff. The room was big with a small balcony and nicely decorated. Bed was really comfortable. Overall, hotel and area felt very safe for solo female traveller.
