Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe bathroom could use 2 more hooks for the robes they provide. Also could use a larger shelf near the sink to hold toiletries bags. Rooms are well organized but typically not as large as you'd like. They make up for that with a big heart.
Location is very convenient, efficient and central for us as we like to walk to sites often in opposite ends in the city. Lèo greeted us warmly and enthusiastically gave us useful information. He was amazing and continued to provide help when needed and anticipated our needs as well. We couldn't have asked for a better reception! The rest of the staff also were very polite and helpful. The common spaces and room were immaculately maintained despite our many shopping bags! The lobby is small but comfortable and never felt crowded. We enjoyed the amenities for coffee and honor bar there as well as the hammam.

United KingdomAnother amazing stay at Hotel de Seze - I was upgraded on arrival and they were very friendly and helpful. I had to leave too early to have breakfast but the room itself was clean, well appointed and the location of the hotel near the Madeleine was perfect. There were some lovely options for dinner in the side streets adjacent to the hotel as well. A great price for a centrally located 4 star hotel in Paris - will definitely return.

United StatesGiven its small size, it can’t heat and cool different rooms. Sadly, some of the guests during our stay found Paris to be too cool and wanted to heat their rooms. That meant we were unable to cool our 5th floor room and we were extremely warm and uncomfortable.
Upscale boutique hotel with only 22 rooms. On a quite side street. Close to shopping, restaurants and the metro. Nice continental breakfast, in room espresso maker. Beautiful shower and room appointments. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very welcoming and super nice and helpful staff. Super central location between Opera and Tuileries great both for tourists and business travelers. Clean and comfortable room with high quality toiletry. A small cafe/lounge area at the entrance you can use between your meetings. And a small gym and spa at the basement to top it all. Great value for money

The hotel has a very comfortable lobby, which was particularly nice as we were traveling for work so we could meet there. A big Merci to Leo, Janne, Chang and all the other personnel for going above and beyond to help their guests. Rooms were beautiful and clean, breakfast was excellent, good coffee available all day.

AzerbaijanThe breakfast options were quite limited. The fridge inside the room didn't remain cold. Additionally, some corners of the room weren't properly cleaned.
Excellent location, with metro stations nearby as well as numerous restaurants and shopping streets. Staff of the hotel -especially the receptionists - were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and provided assistance whenever needed. The room was nice and spacious.
