We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe only thing I can think of is that the lift is very small and there wasn't a proper door between the bedroom and the toilet.
The Hotel De Londres is in an excellent location near both the sea and just off the main street in Boulogne. The room was neat and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. There was a small bathroom with a shower. The lady who booked us in was very friendly. Although breakfast was offered, we declined. A pleasant stay.

United KingdomThe entrance to the hotel is a shared courtyard with a children’s playground in it. This seems to be used by people late into the night (03:00) to gather and chat with friends. It’s quite loud if you are trying to sleep and your room faces that way. Also, the bathroom door was unhinged and didn’t open/close properly.
It is close to restaurants. I stayed in room 18 and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and served with a friendly smile.

It is very friendly, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean.. Breakfast is delicious and copious.My husband was searching for a specific pharmacy and the hotel owner took the time to look it up on the Internet so that we even had a photo of it and found it easily. Parking is just outside the hotel, spacious and free.
