United KingdomWe did not eat or have breakfast but not sure we would have eaten in the restaurant even if it had been open because there are barely any non-meat items which is a real shame in 2024.
Hotel is nice and we had a great view up to the abbey. On the night we stayed the restaurant was closed but we went to the closest one next door, A La Fortune du Pot which was good. There is public parking in front and beside the hotel which costs €6 for 24 hours.

ItalyWhile the breakfast was rich and included a wide range of sweet and savoury options, some of them (yoghurt, cold cuts, etc.) disappeared quickly and trays were not always refilled timely. The coffee machine was very slow and kept running out of milk. Prices in the hotel bar were slightly exaggerated.
The hotel is beautifully and centrally located in Vézelay, offering great views on the surrounding landscape from the rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful, and the welcome bottle of champagne offered by the hotel was very much appreciated. The room was spacious and comfortable, also featuring a 'walk-in' closet, and the private parking slot that could be booked was very handy.

The hotel was ideally located in Vezelay, with a 10min walk uphill through the village to the church, a very beautiful place. Family room at top of hotel was a good size .Breakfast was good, with the best fresh orange juice I had tasted during time in France. Went to a restaurant next door for evening meal which was good valve for money .The car park had limited spaces, so we parked in the public car park outside the front of the hotel for 6euros per day. Vezelay is a lovely village and worth a stop over .

This is a beautiful and comfortable hotel. Very good breakfast in a lovely dining room. It would be possible to breakfast outside in good weather. The bar and lounge area was nicely furnished. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.
