I found the bathroom layout extremely odd and dated.

The hotel is in a great location, and was really useful for our through trip to Calais from Spain. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the spa facilities and breakfast, and the beds were super comfortable.

Happy with it all except restaurant meals and treatments too expensive. So we didn’t use them at all.

Excellent location plus good parking facility

Parking, it wasn’t clear on booking.com that you had to reserve in advance so after a long journey we had to use public car park a bit away.

Location was very good , staff were helpful and friendly , clean . Enjoyed the Spa after a long car journey . Bar was very nice , old style

The restuarant was booked for a private event on the night we arrived. Although there was a pool, it was quite industrial. There were two loungers and a very small sitting area. We booked to relax by the pool, but this was impossible, which was a real shame. We messaged the hotel the day before about parking but never got a response. Outside the hotel, you can only park for a couple of hours. We searched for an overnight car park, which was £17 for 24 hours and about 10 minutes' walk away.

The hotel is in a very central location which is fantastic for everything. The room was very "grand" with everything you would need. There was a pool & steam room and a dressing gown was provided Breakfast was lovely, and all of the staff were great

If we had a parking in the hotel. We had to park at a distant parking as the hotel doesn't have enough parking. There are no fridges in the rooms

The breakfast was great but it would be nice if it was not the same every day.

Room had toilet separated from bathroom. The toilet area had a sink but no towel rack or soap. No mini fridge in room either which is almost vital when you have a baby (for milk and baby food). Great coffee machine but no kettle (again would’ve been useful with baby for sterilising/cleaning, etc). Impossible to order room service at 8.30pm even though it closed at 9pm.

Super central, clean and good amenities (crib) for babies. Pet friendly too ❤️

The only annoying part of this stay was the hotel insisting on payment in advance! We were on a-road trip and this was the only hotel that required this, but silly because then on checking out had to pay a small invoice for tourist tax and parking. Surely easier to just do everything in one transaction. This process made using this hotel more time consuming, not what I expected.

    Almost everything

Poor staff numbers and training - mostly inexperienced but pleasant students. Room facilities were pretty good but lacked attention to detail. I.e; a good capsule style coffee maker but insufficient water to use it. Only 4 capsules, of 4 different varieties. 2 teabags - again of obscure varieties. No refrigerator.

For overnight accommodation, it was fine for us - comfortable bed and all basic requirements met - with a few niggling exceptions

Toilet totally separate from the bathroom (across entrance hall) with its own wash basin but no towel or soap. No soap in bathroom either and do had to use shower gel in shower. Staff at breakfast did not man the entrance desk and although at least 3 on duty all were in the kitchen for over 5 minutes so we ended up just sitting at a table and helping ourselves.

Great room and extremely friendly staff on reception.

I thought this facility had laundry and is one of the reasons I booked here. Also the hot tub wasn't hot but had cool water, which was unexpected.

Felt safe in the midst of a college town, roomy and comfortable. Liked the steam room and pool area. Staff is super helpful. Easy to walk to the train station, the office of tourism and many places to eat.

Not much negativity, the only thing for the rooms would be the TV, outdated (not a smart TV, couldn't connect to anything) and pretty small for the room sizes, we checked other rooms too, and it was the same throughout. The hot tub wasn't great, warm temperature and was constantly switching itself off, not sure if this was intended or not, but definitely not something I was expecting. Not the hotel itself, but travelling by bus, you'll need the app or get a day ticket to travel these services. Honestly France is so far behind in travelling, no idea why they dont make everything contactless would be so much easier to travel like London/UK

Room was very spacious and the beds comfortable. Bathroom facilities were impeccable, especially the shower. Pool and sauna were amazing, we spent most evenings in there. Ideal location, close to train station and in the centre of town. The whole town is easy to navigate in general. Great selection of breakfast choices, mostly continental, but there is cooked food buffet style available.

Would not recommend planning to sleep on the sofa beds. No bar fridge.

Good hotel near the train station. Kids loved the pool. Stayed in the family room and was very spacious. Had an issue with the room type when we arrived but it was sorted out in a helpful and professional manner. Very good breakfast with good accommodations for gluten free. Would stay again.
