Wished it had a bar to service drinks. There was an honesty bar but it was very limited.

Top quality in all respects. The room was exceptionally spacious and had top quality soft furnishings and amenities. I was very impressed with the very expensive Dyson hair dryer. The quality of the water in the shower was soft and provided gentle washing.

My only issue was not the hotel - we had to leave early due to a family emergency and the booking did not have any refund policy.

The hotel is charming and the staff are very helpful. The area is safe and quiet. I'd book here again without hesitation.

The minor drawback was the unappealing view from our suite. It was not a real issue because we were out and about the city most of the time.

The property was decorated with the style of a chic Parisian hotel. We were impressed with the spaciousness and floor plan. We were thrilled with the location which provided restaurants and plenty of shopping in all directions.

if i were to stay again i wouldn’t have breakfast. wasn’t particularly impressed with the food but everything else was lovely .

The housekeeping service was a bit spotty, missed a bunch of things and the bathrooms could have cleaner on arrival. They did not have face clothes only larger towels.

Location/ staff / rooms were all amazing. The room jr suites are very spacious. The staff went out of their way to help book reservations.

The location, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the room was well decorated and clean. Easily one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

Breakfast was continental - a great choice. Some tables were set out at sofas, which were maybe a little low to eat at - minor issue though - we moved the tableware to a table and chairs one morning - mainly because I have a bad back. Others probably wouldn’t even see it as an issue.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. On arrival we were given a room upgrade - they said it was because I was celebrating a birthday (albeit belated) and also because it was our anniversary. I can only imagine this information was picked up from an email I had sent the hotel weeks earlier when asking for recommendations for a lovely restaurant for our anniversary. That, for me, is attention to detail and excellent customer service - which is so often lacking elsewhere. The room was beautiful and the gesture hugely appreciated.

We love everything about the property.

We have stayed here before and I think we will always stay here when visiting Paris. We love the design and decor, we stayed in a very spacious, junior suite. We like the fabulous yet quiet location just off the Champs Élysées and of course the wonderful staff. This is an amazing boutique hotel and we of course love the 8ème arrondissement. Great restaurants, hotel bars, shopping and everything you need is on the doorstep.

Nothing! It’s perfect.

The location. You’re less than five minutes away from the Champs-Élysées. The staff. Every staff person we were in contact with was amazing. Helpful, going that extra step to make our stay special.

The Montesquieu is located just off the Champs Élysées and is within easy reach of public transport that will take you just about everywhere. It is a small but very well run hotel, with a friendly and helpful reception, excellent service from the breakfast team, very comfortable rooms (we were in 402) and a very good breakfast. It is rare to find such an hotel in this part of Paris that has that little extra to make the stay very comfortable and enjoyable.
