Breakfast was very expensive - although we didn't try it so cannot comment on quality - we didn't bother as we just walked in to town to a cafe. Nothing else to criticise.

A very nice hotel with comfortable rooms and in a great location with an easy walk into the town centre and to the chateau. Staff were very helpful.

The hallways were quite dark in the evening and the escalator was very small and ancient, but neither spoiled our stay.

The bedroom was spotlessly clean and more spacious than our Nantes hotel, where we paid much more. It was in a perfect location, close to everything, yet quiet, with a beautiful park nearby.

Room was comfortable. Beds are great. We were staying on the 1st floor. Room 116,, 117 and 118 are by the lift. We heard the hallway noise. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Good price. Did not have breakfast so I can't provide any information on that.

Restaurant was closed, bar was closed, albeit we did persuade one of the managers to serve us with drinks which was appreciated. The first rooms we were offered were truly appalling, with an interconnecting door between rooms!! The room with the toilet was so small, you had to step over the toilet with a leg each side of it to be able to close the door! The air con also didn’t work! In fairness to the young male manager on the desk, he found us two alternative rooms which were very good.

Poor lighting for wet shaving. Awkward access to room safe (reverse covering door hinges !).

Noisy bar outside- if you are on lower floors they keep going till past midnight….! The parking garage is very tight if you have a bigger car, I would park on the streets behind the hotel

Breakfast was very comprehensive and enjoyable but a bit haphazard with frequent refreshment of food needed and crockery needing to be asked for.

Room, one of the best in the hotel was very good, view of city fine, A/C useful. Good exercise climbing and descending the stairs to Floor 3, although there is a lift. Secure garage essential. Reception staff always helpful.

Came down at 9am. Unfortunately a lack of hot food at breakfast but good continental selection to fill you up.

Needed a stop over on the way to the South. Friendly welcome at reception. Clean room/ensuite, underground secure parking. Comfy bed. Lovely looking hotel. 👌

Restaurant seem to have a very odd "mystery" menu, where you would not know what you were going to be presented with, so we didn't go there. Big road outside. Tricky to find the door to the underground hotel car park down a side road and you had to leave on foot the same way you had driven in in your car.

Comfortable beds. Underground car park can be booked, but no pedestrian way to the hotel. Quiet despite the road and size of hotel. Fantastic castle and huge ancient tapestry in the town. Plenty of places to eat and drink in this lively town.
