The hotel was absolutely beautiful, being a conversion of a number of historic buildings. It was spotless, the room size was very generous, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast choice was amazing. The location was perfect too, just 5-mins walk from the Cathedral.

In booking.com says there is parking but due to the roads in the city , it wasnt possibly to get to the hotel. There is no private parking. However, the closest parking garage is super close to the hotel “around the corner”

The room was very large (2 twin beds) and the bathroom was the best of several hotels in France in which we stayed. The location was extremely convenient and walkable to all of the "old town" Strasbourg sites. The service was friendly and attentive.

The hotel was located in a historical building with a cute courtyard. The position was very central and close to all the main attractions. Very quiet hotel fully renovated, we slept very well. We enjoyed the postcards offered at the end of our stay.

A complete gem of a hotel! Perfectly located for exploring Strasbourg - central yet quiet. Beautiful room and building, delicious breakfast and friendly and helpful staff.

The cost of the hotel's breakfast seemed high for what you get. There is a great bakery just around the corner though.

The location is perfect. You could easily walk to any of the historic locations. The river cruise departs from a location 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The beds were comfortable. The temperature of the room was perfect during the otherwise hot summer nights we visited.

The bath and shower in our room was a typical French style of a tub with a short partition wall and a shower head in the side of the partition extending over the tub. No curtain, no glass, just wide open. If you are older, you need to watch your step in and out of the tub as it's awkward, be aware of this when booking. Also be aware that despite your best efforts you will flood the bathroom floor and will need to request extra towels. In hindsight, if we ever have the pleasure to visit Strasburg and stay at this hotel I will be sure to request a room with a shower stall and separate tub. Also of note was that our room was at two different levels with the bedroom on the lower level and the sitting room and bath at a higher level. They were joined by a small stair with low clearance under a huge wood beam. One must be careful for those midnight nature calls in the dark. The room had very nice period style furniture in it with a good mini-bar, closet however very small for hanging items.

If you want to step far back in time in Strasbourg then this hotel will fulfill your fantasy. Built in a highly renovated (inside) (opened in 2020) Inn from the 16th century, the minute you walk into the cobbled courtyard (a bit of tussle with the roller bag) you will feel like you have stepped into another world. There are many rooms here and I think its best to reserve yours on the phone with reception to get the one you want (noting you have not seen them yet). Our room was a queen suite and while it was very nice and very comfortable it was a part of the building that seemed brand new and did not seem to be from the old building, but maybe it was, due to the large beams in the ceilings. This gave the room a bit of a sterile feel as the walls had nothing on them and the details in the interior construction were quite standard. Regardless, the hotel is dead quiet in the evenings and nightime so restfull sleep is assured. ! Breakfast was quite decent with large selections of hot (on order) and cold foods displayed in buffet. The courtyard quiet and serene, is a wonderful place to have your morning coffee and breakfast. The staff were exceptional did everything to make our stay more comfortable. The location is perfect in our opinion being just outside the crush of the inner city while being steps away from it. All in all staying here made our visit to Strasbourg a complete experience. We will definitely be back.
